The History of Wild Planet

Wild Planet was founded by seafood industry veteran William (Bill) Carvalho. With over 25 years of experience under his belt, Carvalho founded the seafood company Carvalho Fisheries in 1990. Over the years, Carvalho Fisheries grew to become a major primary receiver and producer of a wide range of West Coast seafood products. This evolution eventually prompted Carvalho to launch Wild Planet Foods in 2004, which maintains his dedication to harvesting great food through sustainable fishing practices.
