Why You’ll Love It

Peanut sauce is a popular condiment in regional Thai dishes, but when you can’t do peanuts, Yai’s has the answer with almond sauce. Each jar features blended almonds, fresh red curry paste, and coconut milk with a splash of tamarind juice for sweetness. It’s non-GMO, gluten-free, Paleo, and tastes great on salads, noodle dishes, and stir-fry.

Good

Thai almond sauce is a good substitute for peanut sauce, for those whose diet does not permit peanuts. This can put certain salads and Pad Thai back on the menu. I had to add more juice from a fresh lime when I made a green papaya salad, but the end result was delicious.

Almost Right

Tastes almost like the peanut version of this sauce, but lighter and healthier. I do add some extra seasoning to make it bolder.

This yummy sauce works great with turkey or salmon. I mix organic spinach, miracle noodles, shredded turkey cutlets or canned salmon and this sauce. So delish and satisfying! Yum.

This is good stuff. I ended up adding a can of coconut milk to make it more like satay though

Not very flavorful

It's ok, but in order for it to have any flavor I had to add coconut aminos and tamari. It's definitely a very mild flavor and very low-salt. And I typically like my food to be fairly low-salt, but this product takes it too far. Found the same is true for their green coconut curry sauce.

I use this on a salad of cucumbers, peppers, and tofu and it’s pretty good. I just wish it was a little spicier.
