Don't get your hopes up.. These do NOT taste like Licorice nor resemble the consistency. They are like stale taffy chews. The bites are very firm, so need to chew more than normal, then gets stuck in and around almost every tooth. Have a placker type toothpick ready. Darn, I Looooove Licorice, but these totally missed the mark. Three stars bc this is a healthier version of a snack and many reviewers appear to like it. The other snack types (non-Licorice) by this brand were much softer to chew.
