Why You’ll Love It

A spicy, savory blast of mild-sweet heat that'll light up your tastebuds like the final fireworks display on 4th of July. In Ayurvedic medicine, the Eggplant is “King,” not only for its crown but because it’s rich in vitamins, minerals, phyto-nutrients, and contains some of the most potent free radical scavengers found in plant tissue: Chlorogenic Acid (antimicrobial, anti-LDL, anti-viral, anti-mutagenic) and Nasunin (prevents cellular damage, lessens free-radical damage in joints). This incredible “Power Plant” stimulates the digestive system and reduces the amount of fats and cholesterol in the blood. Some research even shows that the potassium in Eggplants can gently stimulate the heart to reduce excess fluid in the body. Power Plant Organic Eggplant Jerky is easy on digestion, unlike meat-snacks, and provides plenty of energy, fiber, and nutrition for hikers, bikers, ravers, stargazers, cool kids and hip parents alike.

I stumbled upon "The Kind Diet," by Alicia Silverstone which lead me to "Eating Animals" by Jonathan Safran Foer and "The Food Revolution" by John Robbins. These books spoke truth to me, and I found that eating a plant-based diet with healthy fats and vegetables was essential to my well being. My sinuses cleared up. My skin cleared up. I had more energy. I was healthier and I got sick way less often. In 2015 I moved to Kimberton, PA and volunteered at a biodynamic CSA which had a banner year for...
