About This Brand

What is Primal Kitchen Primal Kitchen is the latest project by Mark Sisson, one of the founders of the Paleo movement as well as the author of the bestselling book, “The Primal Blueprint.” The company makes an assortment of Paleo diet health foods, ranging from coconut-based protein shakes to avocado oil infused mayonnaise. To put it simply, Primal Kitchen is on a mission to create excellent food made with nutritious ingredients that are oh-so tasty. Who is Mark Sisson Mark Sisson is the founder of Primal Kitchen and is widely recognized for his work within the Paleo community. But even those things paint an incomplete picture of the man—let's start from the beginning. Raised in a fishing town in Maine, Mark Sisson fell down the rabbit hole of nutrition and athletics at an extremely early age. He lived about a mile and half away from the school he attended and one day developed a game. Instead of riding the bus home, he’d run and try to beat the bus. Little did Sisson...

Reviews For Macadamia Sea Salt Grass-Fed Collagen Bar, 6-Pack

Based on 8 Reviews

Great taste, quality ingredients

The paleo mom speaks very highly of this brand, so of course im a fan too! I got these free with a thrive order and they are good. They have a slightly sweet, chewy taste to them- very good! And they have added collagen for additional health benefits. I'd like to try the chocolate ones too (even though I'm not a huge fan of chocolate)

- Lauren Delfino

I had tried the Primal Kitchen dark chocolate almond bars previously, and while I liked the flavor and ingredients, they were excessively difficult to chew. I was pleasantly surprised with these. They are chewy, but reasonably so - I can bend them and break off pieces easily. I love the ingredients, the flavor, and the high protein/low sugar profile. These are a winner in my book, and I will definitely purchase again!

I like this flavor even better than the chocolate! It doesn't have a strong collagen taste like the chocolate bars do. It is the perfect mix of not-to-sweet and salty. This very filling bar is the perfect on-the-go snack!

- Kathryn F.

I was looking for an alternative to Macadamia Clif Bars because they have more sugar than I'm comfortable with and don't keep me full very long for being 260 calories. These bars have a ton of protein, less carbs, a small amount of sugar, good fats, keep me full much longer, and provide another way to get collagen besides the daily supplement I use. I definitely had some sticker shock, as I have just recently started prioritizing healthy, ethically sourced foods in my budget, but I think these are worth the price. Highly recommend!

I love the taste of these bars. I will order again!

- Terrey Scheuermann

I buy this brand of bars because they're one of the healthiest bars you can buy more than "OMG they're delicious". With that said, they do taste good and this flavor is my favorite. I like the saltiness and that it is less gooey than the chocolate.

- Jennifer

truly an "energy" bar

no sugar crash! so healthy. they fill you up for hours. you grow accustomed to the chewiness. I love all the flavors equally and get them all the time now. i like what the other guy said about clean energy too

- Melody

Perfect for Keto!

If you're on a LCHF diet, or Ketogenic, I highly recommend these. It's like a super clean version of a chewy granola bar. Now I wish I would have ordered the larger box!!
