Unique Taste But Awesome
Not like anything else you've tried, but I love it. Texture is a little like cream of wheat. Taste is like roasted cacao. Will definitely buy again.
I wasn't completely blown away by the texture & flavor. This was my first time eating pinole so I will give it another try. Perhaps I will try preparing it a little differently.
Flavor was good but texture was disgusting. Not getting this again.
I love this stuff! I like to keep a bag at work for my breakfasts. I make it with milk and a touch of honey at the end. I particularly like to add fresh fruit as well. I am a paramedic, we get to work early and work hard all day, often without a chance for lunch, sometimes well around 8-9pm before we ever even get to eat dinner. A good size bowl of this will keep me feeling content and not get hungry-grumpy :)

I am so excited to have discovered this!!! Thank you Thrive for carrying such cool new products!! I LOVE how yummy it is (totally addicting) and how much protein I get. I prepared it as a hot cereal but also threw a bit raw in my morning smoothie and it was great!! I can't wait to order more!!

It certainly is a little different - which just took some getting used to (texture, taste, etc). But I loved it with some berries and a little honey. I personally think the recommending portion is a LOT - and will probably make 1/2 a portion in the mornings instead and see how that makes me feel.
I've replaced my oatmeal with pinole and have never felt better. This is the stuff you need if you really want energy/nutrition from your breakfast.
