Reviews For Green Tea Kelp Noodles
Based on 12 Reviews
These noodles are amazing. I stir-fried them to make them soft and made a Paleo "pad thai" with them - shrimp, veggies and an almond butter sauce. I am so happy to discover these, they will become a staple in my kitchen for sure. :-)
Not as good as others by Sea
There was an extra bitter-ish taste - here, I did not care for. Not as good as Sea Tangle's other kelp noodles.
Exactly As Advertised
I have added some of these noodles to my lunchtime soup for the past two days, and they added body ("toothfulness"), no fat, no cholesterol, very little sodium, and almost zero calories or carbs. The flavor of the other ingredients held their own! They are on my keepers list for sure.
They were ok a bit crunchy for me but ok
I put the Green Tea Kelp Noddles in my soup and I loved it! I preferred this over rice noodles with high carbs.
Suprisingly yummy. I do not like anything that even resembles seaweed. These have no seaweed flavor. Very neutral taste.
I'm a fan!
I'm surprised by how flavorless these are... and that it's actually a good thing! Trying to stay lower in carbs is difficult when you see your plate devoid of any starches. It might taste fine, but you feel like something's missing. These noodles really filled that void for me and they add a neat texture to my food that I really enjoy. They're pretty flavorless, so I can see myself using them in just about any dish that requires pasta noodles. I used them in a stir fry and they were great! I was really skeptical about these and reluctant to try them because people described them as "crunchy" - now I understand what that means, and it's not like a crispy crunchy, it's just that they're very firm like an al dente pasta.
Great with curry!
I tried these noodles out of curiosity and I think they will become a new staple. The texture is a bit of a surprise on their own. When added them to a coconut curry and they were a perfect pasta substitute. The texture is quite similar to an al dente pasta and they don't get mushy. Looking forward to trying them with stir fry. Wonderful raw food option!
We love it, what an interesting texture. It is very versatile and I am kind of hooked on it. I’ll keep experimenting ways to enjoy.
I am gluten free, for health reasons, and I get tired of the same old rice and corn noodles all the time. I have to be honest, I was afraid to try kelp noodles at first, and my first try was even a bad one (I didn't soak them long enough). However, I am not one to waste food, and the second time was a charm. Sea Tangle Noodle Company makes some of the best kelp noodles I've tasted.

Great Healthy Snack
Make sure that you follow the instructions on these if you want them to have the right texture. They work great in many different noodle dishes. They taste great!

Nice Paleo Alternative
I was looking for a quicker alternative for a Paleo-friendly noodle other than zucchini noodles (zoodles) or spaghetti squash to use with a tomato sauce when in a hurry. These were great! After a simple rinse, I placed them in a bowl with my sauce - they were a bit too crunchy for me at first, but after a couple of minutes, they softened (they still had a tiny bit of a crunch) but were great! They don't have a flavor by themselves, but take on the flavor of whatever ingredients you use with them. I have only tried the with spaghetti sauce, but am game to to try them in other recipes.
