this is a good salt and I use it a lot mostly for pasta water and coating steak for the grill it is not a salt that breaks up and not sure if it would go in a grinder I use a Himalayan salt for grinding over foods but the Celtic salt has a place in my kitchen.

Best nutritious sea salt
Simply the best, not one of the best. Period
too big and chunky
it is too big. doesnt dissolve well. and kind of hurts when you bite it.
I had never tried Celtic Sea Salt before, and I'm so glad I decided to try it. It tastes like no other! I've been using pink Himalayan salt which is very good, but this tastes even better. This can be used in cooking, but if you want a finer salt for seasoning at the table, you will need a ceramic salt grinder as the moisture will rust metal blades.
Love this salt, and the price is fabulous!

everything cured by the Sea
It was fresh, seemed moist in the package but no it was just the way sea salt should be...the grey color and the flakiness is so perfect. I don't think I'll ever be able to use any other kind.
I like the large crystals. Has an intense bite we like.
Would like to know what minerals are in it.
Great for Bone Broth
I use this for my broths I make at home, for roasting chicken and for other recipes. Very pleased with it!

I stumbled on an article written by Dr David Brownstein when I was searching for answers to my thyroid med no longer working. Long story short, our bodies must have salt, just not the table salt sold in stores, but natural unrefined salt that still has all the trace minerals. Celtic Sea Salt has over 80 trace minerals we simply cannot get through supplements.
I use this for cooking as well as putting a pinch under my tongue while prepping my meals. I've never been a big salt eater but I love the flavor and quality knowing I am giving my body what it needs for proper cell function.
I use this in place of table salt for flavoring foods and really love it. I put it in my grinder so it is always freshly ground.
If you like cooking with sea salt this is a great choice. It's very flavorful and just a little sprinkle adds a lot to a dish. It also works well in a salt grinder.
I've always used Celtic Sea Salt "Flower of The Ocean", so this was my first time trying their "Light Grey" salt. I have to say, I'm really impressed with it, and price wise, you can't go wrong!
Beautiful Finishing Salt
I consider myself something of a salt snob and I was rather surprised by the quality of this salt. The fact that I have paid outrageous amounts before for "gourmet" salt before makes this an amazing value. I am going to make this a staple in my pantry. Great grey color and beautiful crystallization show it high mineral content and overall amazing quality.
