Why You’ll Love Non-GMO Creamy Almond Butter
While peanut butter has been (and still is) a much loved staple in many cupboards across the country, we can probably agree that almond butter is having a moment right now. Packed with protein and healthy fats, it is a great alternative to good ‘ole PB, particularly for those who prefer a more subtle flavor to their nut butters.
Thrive Market’s Non-GMO Creamy Almond Butter is a tasty top-of-the-line product made from some of the highest quality ingredients. Our specially selected almonds are harvested, dry roasted, and packed with no additional ingredients. The result is a scrumptious nut butter with no secrets—just natural goodness.
Thrive Market prides itself on offering a thoughtfully curated selection of wholesome products, from our top-tier health food items to our bath and beauty goods, and everything in between. Our Non-GMO Creamy Almond Butter fits right into our mission to make healthy living easy and affordable for everyone.
How our almond butter is made
While many conventional brands of nut butter may have additives that act as shelf stabilizers or binders, we honor our commitment to offering pure, wholesome products and our almond butter is no exception. Read the label, and you’ll notice that Thrive Market’s Non-GMO Creamy Almond Butter is made from one single ingredient: almonds. Non-GMO almonds are harvested, sorted, and then carefully dry roasted before they are ground into the creamy nut butter that goes straight into the jar. That means zero added sugar, salt, or preservatives.
A humble little nut
The almond tree produces a hard-shelled fruit with an edible seed. You may notice that almonds look a bit like the pits of stone fruits like cherries, plums, peaches and nectarines— that’s because they’re related.
They have a long history dating back to Biblical times, were served to Egyptian pharaohs in cakes and desserts, gifted to newlyweds for fertility by the Romans, and transported as snack food for traveling the Silk Road. Originally thought to have come from Asia, the almond tree is now abundant in countries along the Mediterranean as well as in California’s Central Valley. Today, almonds are eaten all over the world and in countless forms.
Almond butter has gained a reputation as the healthier choice over peanut butter, with more vitamin E, magnesium, and iron than its PB rival. While they share many of the same nutritional attributes, this nut butter has more "good fats" per serving. If you’re fiercely peanut butter-faithful, not to worry—both of these nut butters can be used interchangeably in recipes since they have a similar protein and calorie content, so it’s really a matter of personal preference.
From sandwiches to sauces
Thrive Market’s Non-GMO Creamy Almond Butter can be used in every way that peanut butter can, from almond butter cookies to AB&J sandwiches, to savory satay sauce. Try your hand at one of these recipes featuring almond butter to get inspired.
On a hot summer day, there's nothing more satisfying than a fresh spring roll filled with seasonal vegetables and seafood. A sweet dipping sauce made with almond butter and fresh ginger takes things over the top.
The classic combination of peanut butter and jelly gets an upgrade in these snack-sized sandwiches. Adults and kids alike will love the chocolate-covered bites of crunchy gluten-free cracker, almond butter, and raspberry preserves.

It's okay. It's a little too creamy. I like my almond butter to be thicker not so liquidy
I like this product. It's very creamy and flavor is not as strong as peanut butter.
Not all butters are the same
Thrive Market has done a great job making this Pure and wholesome Almond butter! Best tasting Nut Butter I've had, will be ordering more of this!!
the perfect almond butter
i love this almond butter. it is simple, pure, and delicious. this may be the only almond butter i purchase from here on out!
Great taste! Minimal ingredients!
Tastes great and has a smooth texture. Most almond butters have ingredients I don't want in them, this one is only "roasted almonds"!
The price is right, too!

Very smooth and creamy!
Great taste without all the salt. Great texture. Will definitely be ordering more!
This is hands down the best almond butter that I've ever had. The consistency is perfect throughout the entire bottle. A lot of the other almond butters are too hard so you can't spread it evenly on bread.
I read this: "In response to Salmonella outbreaks in raw almonds, the USDA requires that all almonds be sterilized by chemical and/or high temperature treatment, according to Food Consumer." Please inform us what the real story is and how these are processed. Thank You. In Love & Gratitude, Jude
I love this on my apples, crackers, and celery. I mixed a little peanut butter with the almond butter because the almond butter is a little thin. You can put this on so much.
