Why You’ll Love It

Our Organic Nettle Leaf Tea is a traditional spring tonic—known to support joint health.* Although it might seem off-putting at first—what with the prickly sting and all—once you’ve become friends with nettle you’ve got a friend for life. A tonic, often drunk in the spring when nettle’s pokey presence is prevalent, we love nettle’s green, hay-like taste nearly as much as we love its ability to support the whole body.* This tea is pleasantly refreshing, hay-like and slightly bitter. *These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. Reviews For Nettle Leaf Tea

Based on 12 Reviews

I have this tea at least twice a day. I love it. It steeps for 10 minutes covered. My only wish is that they come up with new phrases on the tea bags. I've read them all so many times already. Nothing to do with the tea but sometimes it's fun to get a little note that's new! ;-) Nettle leaf has so many health benefits and tastes lovely so I highly recommend.

A must have for detoxing!

Anthony Williams recommends this brand so I didn't hesitate to try for my detoxification plan. Mellow taste and I like to add it to my green tea blends to create a richer blend. Now if Thrive would just add this same brand in lemon balm which is also a liver and kidney detoxifier, I would be set!

Good tea

My husband has had kidney stones in the past, and the doctor said that it's much more likely he'll get them again now. I know how much pain it was for him last time, so I've been buying this tea for both of us to drink. I read online that it helps with kidney stones and urinary health, and it actually tastes pretty good. This is definitely one "medicine" that neither of us really minds taking! It makes a nice cup for both of us in the evening to relax after the day.

Acquired taste

I've been told that this has antibiotic properties, so I started drinking it regularly. I have to admit; it definitely takes a bit of getting used to. I didn't really like it at first, but now that I've been drinking it a couple weeks, I find that I crave it if I don't have it that day. This is some really good-tasting stuff.

Yummy - cold or hot

This tea is good either hot or cold. I really like the flavor of this tea. It's different from the peppermint tea I usually drink.
