Reviews For Organic Red Quinoa
Based on 6 Reviews
I love quinoa, especially red. I put it in my grain grinder and make "grits" from the whole grain. My family loves it. I use it in place of polenta, and even serve it as a breakfast cereal. When cooked whole I add dried currents, apricots, and cashews .
Love this product, nutty, fresh & easy.
I reduced the liquid a tad since the ratio in the directions often seems to be too high, and it cooked perfectly. The quinoa stayed in tact and tastes great!
I read up a lot on quinoa when I wanted to change my diet, and it was amazing. Quinoa has no gluten, and it's loaded with iron, vitamin B, magnesium, calcium, potassium and fiber. It's a great source of protein, low in fat, low in calories and pretty much a perfect food. TruRoots organic red quinoa has a great flavor and is great by itself or with vegetables and free-range chicken, which is one of my favorite dishes.
This is pure, organic, natural red quinoa, which has huge nutritional benefits. I've stopped eating whole grain rice, and gone with quinoa almost exclusively, and I'm all in with TruRoots. They not only make this red quinoa, they also make a whole grain organic quinoa and a sprouted quinoa, which is fantastic. This is an easy and healthy sub for rice dishes and it has a full grainy flavor that makes recipes come alive.
