Why You’ll Love Organic Coconut Milk
In recent years, many people have gone crazy for coconut milk—and it appears to be for good reason. As a substitute for dairy, coconut milk is lactose-free, which allows the millions with allergies or those following a vegan diet the chance to enjoy an alternative that has a very similar texture.
Because it’s plant derived, coconut milk also has greater nutritional value than the traditional options derived from animals. It’s richer in niacin, with 1.8 milligrams per cup compared to the 0.23 milligrams in dairy milk. That’s important because niacin (a.k.a. vitamin B3) helps metabolize the nutrients found in food. Coconut milk also has greater concentrations of iron (3.9 milligrams per cup versus 0.1 milligrams), which eases the delivery of oxygen to body tissues and enables cells to function every day.
But not all coconut milk is created equal; the healthiest versions are organically made and don’t have any sugar or additives. In addition to those qualifiers, Native Forest’s Unsweetened Organic Coconut Milk is also:
So, although coconut milk once got a bad rap for its high fat and caloric content, more and more health experts now agree that good fats are part of a healthy diet. That means coconut milk is finally getting the recognition it deserves as a star player in a wholesome, satisfying diet.
The health benefits of coconut milk
With natural reserves of vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5, and B6, as well as minerals such as selenium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, and calcium, the tropical nut has a number of health-promoting properties that may come as a surprise.
Two important components of coconut milk are lauric acid and magnesium. Both have been found to reduce cholesterol levels and regulate blood pressure. Magnesium in particular keeps the heart’s rhythm in check.
Coconuts are a great source of medium chain triglycerides (the “good” fats), which not only stimulate fat burning but also leave a full feeling that can help cut down on cravings and overeating throughout the day. Those same fatty acids (and B vitamins) also provide the energy the body needs for increased physical output and are essential for tissue repair that can build muscle.
Like coconut water, coconut milk contains electrolytes and other essential minerals that help reduce the risk for dehydration, especially when consumed on a hot day, while fighting an illness, or after a rigorous workout.
While the electrolytes in coconut milk can help with bouts of diarrhea, a well-hydrated tract also keeps things flowing, lessening the chance for constipation as well as thinning the mucus that can lead to ulcers.
Balanced blood sugars
When used as a sweetener instead of sugar, coconut milk can help lessen blood sugar spikes that, over time, could contribute to diabetes. That’s because the good fat content is usable energy that reaches the bloodstream in a more efficient manner.
How coconut milk is made
One of the wonderful things about coconut milk is that the process of creating it is a straightforward one that honors its natural purity. Here’s how it’s done: Fresh, ripe coconut flesh is cut from the outer shell and is then grated and soaked in hot water. Eventually, residual cream will rise to the top. This liquid is then forced through a cheesecloth or other fine straining method to ultimately arrive at the final product.
Ways to cook with coconut milk
Coconut milk has been a dietary staple throughout the world for centuries thanks to its natural creaminess and versatile flavor that lends well to a variety of cooking applications. Thai culture regularly incorporates the liquid into sauces, curries, and sweet rice while Brazilians use it for seafood stews and decadent desserts.
If you're not used to cooking with coconut milk and are looking for a place to start, try these easy ideas:
- Smoothie base (this coconut banana blend is a surefire hit)
- Creamy soup stock
- Alternative sweetener (great for desserts like these homemade Kit Kat Bars)
- Tasty dipping sauces
- Ice cream and pudding creations (here’s a frozen treat you can even eat for breakfast; just substitute the almond milk with coconut milk)
- Creative cocktails (mix vodka, simple syrup, and cinnamon for a drink that tastes like a liquid cookie)
- Cheese and whipped cream
- Coffee creamer (try this super easy recipe!)
Coconut milk for skin and hair
In addition to its culinary and nutritional assets, coconut milk triples as a beauty treatment. It’s a multipurpose workhorse that can add suppleness and strength to skin and hair.
Cleansing for skin
Coconut milk is a rich source of antioxidants, which do wonders in battling those damaging free radicals that are major contributors to wrinkles. In addition to fighting fine lines, coconut milk is also a natural cleansing agent that’s great for washing your face. Its soft, fatty properties naturally remove makeup, dirt, and oil from pores without drying them out, and they also gently exfoliate, removing the dead cells that can otherwise pile up and cause acne.
Try this simple, straightforward recipe for a coconut milk cleanser that will do the trick.
Conditioning for hair
Here’s another reason to stock coconut milk in your bathroom vanity: It can add moisture to your hair. The high concentration of proteins, fats, and vitamin E replenishes strands from root to tip, which is a great help for detangling, preventing split ends, and even promoting hair growth.
Make an easy conditioning mask by mixing 4 oz. of coconut milk with 2 teaspoons honey and a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Apply to hair and leave on for at least 20 minutes before rinsing.

Tasty & natural
I purchased a few cans of coconut milk for holiday baking in November. I gave a 4 stars because as soon as I open each can, the liquid and the white fat ( I assume it is the coconut solid oil) are separated. Shaking the can won't make it smooth and creamy; the low heat will combine it well. However, the thickness of the product, and tastiness are well worth the money I've paid for each can.
- Mama Williams
Very creamy and tasty addition to my organic coffee .
organic coconut milk
very creamy and wonderful taste. I will buy this again and again.
Rich, thick, full of coconut fat. Perfect for whipping, cooking, or just adding to coffee for the best latte ever.
Native Forest Canned Coconut Milk
Really like this product. Use it in my coffee and it has a rich flavor and cappuccino consistency. Sometimes it is thicker than other times and not sure if I'm crazy about that. There are no BPA in this product which is especially important to me. The price is great.
Not so great
First time trying coconut milk and I have to say it is not at all like regular milk... When I opened the can the contents were so separated that I had to throw in the blender to mix everything back up again. It was also very oily. I made a custard and it left a tick crust on the surface that tastes horrible.
Best coconut milk I have tried.
Native Forest Unsweetened Coconut Milk
Best stuff in the world
I've tried numerous types of coconut milk and this is by far the best tasting, creamiest, yummiest one!
Favorite coconut milk
This one is our favorite. High fat content, no nasty additives or BPA.
Great to cook with
I used this in a corn on the cob recipe and also to make coconut rice and everyone loved it!
Love coconut milk & frozen fruit in my breakfast shake
This coconut milk makes the creamiest shakes, esp with frozen fruit. My favorite is with chocolate protein powder and frozen strawberries. It's like having chocolate mousse for breakfast!
Organic Coconut Milk
I absolutely LOVE this coconut milk! I want to fill my fridge with it, and I would never even miss cow milk! I baked a small single serve microwave "cake" with it, and it was perfect, But the real test was using it my coffee! I've never had better coffee in my life! I sweetened it with a little Date Sugar (from thrive) and lightened, and then some with the coconut milk, which I hid (all for ME!) in a new unmarked squeeze bottle which I hid in the back of my fridge. It was enough to give me two big mugs of very light coffee for over a week, I can't wait to make my next order, because I have BIG plans for this stuff. Not just coffee and a cupcake!! It is wonderful!
Very pure/natural - nothing questionable inside, plus no BPA. Smells, tastes, and feels wonderful...
This is wonderful with coconut deep flavor and no sugar and made the best pins colada
- Suzanne lichtenstein
I love this Coconut milk. Tastes great, great price, and packed in a bpa-free can.
New staple in my house
I am new to coconut milk and was unsure as to what I was getting into...so far a have made shampoo with it, face cream and eaten in smoothies. Will buy again...
I'm coo-coo for coconuts!
I am a coconut fanatic. I love everything that smells, tastes and looks like coconut. This is my favorite brand of coconut milk. Thick, coconut-y, delicious. I love that the cans are lined and BPA free. It does separate a lot, but a quick second in the blender does the trick. This is my go-to for curries and sauces. Makes great smoothies too.
Always on my list , great for making paleo/ gf Naan . Then I dilute the rest and save in a mason jar
Better than I thought!
I wanted to try coconut milk for some recipes and this was better than anticipated. It tasted do fresh and have a great consistency. The flavor is sweet and mellow. This brand was a good find too.
Organic coconut milk. Native Forest
5 star. I think it is an excellent product. I love it
Have not used yet.
My favorite by far!
I buy this brand because it has a rich creamy texture. I wish I could get this without the added organic guar gum but for my use I'll take this over the grittiness of other brands. Great for soups and smoothies.
I hope to get this free sample.
- Tpamala nortonhrive
Coconut-like Clouds of Creamy Goodness!
This coconut milk exceeds all others. If your dessert recipe requires coconut milk, this brand is sure to deliver the depth of flavor and creaminess that you'd expect from a mouth watering treat! Products like these makes being vegan a breeze.
Fantastic and delicious
Organic coconut milk
I made a cortadito (which is basically Cuban coffee and milk), since I don't drink cow's milk I tried it with the coconut milk. It was yummy! Gave it to my brother and mother and they liked it.
I would buy that product over and over again. Very good especially to make coconut ices.
Very versatile, great flavor and taste - Love it!
The Real Deal
Not a real taste treat but wholesome food. I mix mine with some Almond Milk for better flavor and consistency.
I have tried every coconut milk on the market and this is the best...and it comes in a BPA-free can. Large amount of coconut cream, separates fairly quickly in the fridge.
Haven't used yet, but will soon.
This is the best brand of coconut milk I have found.. Some of the others skimp on the creamy part of the milk but the Native Forest Organic brand definetlyu has more of the creamy stuff than any other brand I've tried and the coated can helps keep the metal away from the milk so it always tastes great.
I've tried a number of various coconut milk options over the past year as we do a number of smoothies with this product. The quality and taste are great and you can tell the quality difference in this compared to many other Thai options.
Smooth tapioca pudding
First time user. I bought mine in Wegmans, a large grocery chain. There was a solid amount at the top and liquid underneath. It blended together. Used part dairy and classic coconutIt milk. It made creamy delicious pudding. Even my pot cleaned up easier! This is a keeper for me.
Organic Coconut Milk
I had no idea this was the consistency of lard...need to understand how to incorporate it into my home made yogurt
- Judy Goetz
Organic coconut milk
I had no idea the consistency would be like lard with a bit of water on the bottom. I wanted to use it with making my yogurt. Not sure how to use it now, I still have three cans unopened.
- Judy Goetz
Not Happy at all!!!
On opening the can, the milk came out clumpy, lump and spoiled. Could not use it all. Will not order again.
Native Forest Organic Coconut Milk
Thick like butter, very hard to mix, so taste is terrible!
- Anthony Gonzales
Have bought this in my local grocery store. Purchased from Thrive for a better price. Delicious! Read the label, far less ingredients than cartoned coconut milk in the grocery store.
Not sure it this is typical
when I opened these cans, it was solid at the top, and the water at the bottom. I had to blend it in a blender to get a milk. I am not sure if this is typical for organic coconut milk. Taste was good.
This is my favorite.
Native Forest Unsweetened Coconut Milk Classic
I buy item this all the time so I know it really well. I've noticed that when I pay the premium price for it, say $3.19/can, I get a dense, smooth coconut fat with lots of liquid underneath that top layer. Yet, when I pay any discounted prices, the quality is much less. The last cans I ordered were not well blended and were watered down a bit, even after I blended them and stored them in the fridge a bit. I've noticed this same issue when I buy it in stores for less that full retail. The product is sold under the same name but it is not the same product. Just thought you should know.
A STAPLE IN MY HOUSE
Love this coconut milk hot chocolate and golden milk, for dairy free cream soups and sauces, in baking, you name it!
Glad it's organic. Use this as a kitchen staple for dishes like Thai chicken soup, curries, etc. Delicious!
Best Coconut Milk
I have tried many brands of coconut milk, and this is the best I've had. There is more than 60% of coconut solids. You must empty the can into a container and remix the solids and water. Most brands are mostly water and you can pour right from the can. The flavor is excellent. I won't buy any other brand now that I've tried Native Forest Organic Coconut milk.
Does this coconut milk come sweeten all I see in unsweeten?
- beverly kirkpatrick
This is my favorite coconut milk. Nothing added and its wonderful
This is a consistently good coconut milk...a million uses for it
I began looking for recipes to use this in, it's that delicious and nutritious.
This product solidified to a putty consistency. Very little liquid in the bottom. I put it. In a smoothly, but not sure if I would buy it again.
When I received this I shook the can and there was no liquid noise. When I opened it, it had solidified. It kinda resembled putty. I read up on it and when exposed to cold temps it does solidify. I used it just not sure if I'd buy it again.
I LOVE IT
coconut milk and truffles were good but avocado mayo I threw away...terrible
Best Coconut Milk
Excellent texture - my favorite brand so far for cocnut milk. Try it chilled and blended in a blender..it's like whipped cream. So good!
The best tasting, creamiest coconut milk I have found wonderful flavor I use it in many recipes
- starla coleman
Rich, creamy and flavorful. I use it to make a coconut milk and curry base for vegetable soup. Delicious.
It's wonderful, rich and it has an incredible fresh taste to it. Love it. Put it on puree soup and made it so velvety.
Creamy and Thick
This was very thick and rich and delicious in my curry soup recipe.
Thick and wonderful
Extremely happy with flavor, texture, consistency and versatility.
I have never used coconut milk before, but after I read the great reviews, I ordered it & I am using it in my morning smoothies & coffee. I love the thick cream on top!
Perfect for my smoothies and many healthy recipes.
Coconut Milk Powder
great to add into cake batter, smoothies,or even for a non dairy coffee creamer
It is excellent. It is the only one I use.
- Kathleen Juergens
Great value for a pantry staple.
saving for future use
I plan to use it in a couple of recipes-but it's been too warm lately to do any baking; however after shaking the can i can tell it's pretty thick and gives me lots of possibilities.
I don't think I've ever used solid coconut milk before. There was liquid on the bottom, but had to dig through the solid portion on the top and it was very difficult emulsifying it all together.
Excellent product and quality
My wife uses coconut milk in many of her dishes and she loved this product. Excellent quality, price and fast delivery.
Great consistency and taste just wished there were no thickeners or any "gums"
Buy this !
I a relitives and opened their brand of coconut milk. I agrey tent and . this brand is amazing!
Organic Coconut Milk Rocks
Love this product. Very delicious and full of good fats. I use it in my coffee every day.
I used this to make dairy free ice cream and the liquid I drained off was used in smoothies. Great product!
Nice coconut milk
Great creamy coconut milk! We love it and use it in everything!
This is the best coconut milk by far! Excellent quality
The Best Coconut Milk Ever!!
This is a perfect food. I use it for everything! Coffee, chia pudding, mashed potatoes, tea, soup, cereal...and more. It is by far the best packaged coconut milk I've found anywhere. Try it, you'll be glad you did.
This is a great product. I felt it was better than other brands of coconut milk that I have bought in the past.
The price was great and it was packed very well. Vey pleased with my purchase.
This is a really great product. Super yummy in curry.
good for your health
- ANNE MARIE FLORESTAN
This is my favorite coconut milk of all time! It's the only kind I buy now. And you can't beat this price! I have it every morning in my morning coffee. Delicious!
I love this milk. It is so creamy and makes great coconut kefir!
delicious and BPA free!
This is the best canned coconut milk I've tasted, and it's organic and BPA free. It's also the best price I've found. Win-win-win!
Never w/o at least 2 cans in the cupboard
I make sure I always have a can n the refrigerator and spare can in the cupboard. It's the best I've found and I've used a lot over the years. The chilled cream whips up perfectly and can't come close to that fake whip cream you get at the store. BPA free cans is also a HUGE plus. Get it, you'll never go back to another brand!
Great for soups!
This is my favorite coconut milk to use in my soups if I want a non-dairy version for my husband. It is also BPA free! The price is awesome too!
Love this stuff!
As a recent convert to the benefits of coconut, I have tried many versions of coconut milk and this is by far the best! Thick and delicious, I add it to everything I can - cereal, smoothies, shakes and more. You can't go wrong with this one!
organic coconut milk
I use it when making my pumpkin pie; I only wish it did not come from Thiland. They have a problem with human trafficing with their shrimp; concerned they do the same with all the products that come from Thiland
Organic Coconut Milk
Great for making popsicles! Blend with your favorite fruit & honey then freeze!
Best coconut milk available!
I love this BPA free coconut milk! And it always has a lot of separated cream which is awesome!
Great BPA Free Can
This coconut milk is the best! Love the coated BPA free cans too!
great for veggie stews
makes for a delicious soup-- or just about anything you want to add it to: savory or sweet, I like to be creative...
Native Forest Unsweetened organic coconut milk
This coconut milk is a must for me... It is so creamy and tasty!! It has been such a good substitute for cooking and to use in coffee since I had to give up dairy products due to allergies.
This is my favorite coconut milk...it's thick, creamy and tastes delicious!
I have trouble finding organic in my town so I was looking for an alternative. I have found it! Now stay stocked up with this coconut milk and organic almond milk and make my own half-and-half beverage for coffee, cereal, whatever!
Love it. Used to make smoothies, and creamed soups.
For Indians, there are many uses for this wonderful product. I love it.
This is a good canned coconut, but I think Thai Kitchen's Organic canned coconut milk has a better, smoother taste. Also available at Thrive. Only thing is Thai Kitchen is not labeled as Non-GMO.
I love coconut milk and have tried many brands, this is by far the BEST coconut milk I have ever used. I love this stuff!
NOT A DENT AND PURE COCONUT MILK
I ordered 5 cans and each can was perfectly wrapped and packed. Not one dent as another woman stated. This is fantastic coconut milk at a great price. I am so pleased and my smoothies thank you too!
From what I've used so far, I am really excited about this product! I've made a couple batches of red curry and because it seems to be half fat, it made the curry beyond delicious! I usually go through a can a week and given that it's about a dollar less than my local grocery store I plan on buying plenty of these!
My son is lactose-intolerant, so we've had to become a bit creative with our cooking. A friend suggested Coconut Milk for treats like ice cream and milk shakes, as well as sauces. We tried out several brands; some were too watery, and others separated when you poured them out.
We initially just bought 2 cans of this one, and almost immediately bought 6 more! It is creamy throughout, and does not separate. I've even managed to make whipped cream with it after refrigerating the Coconut milk for a day or so! We've been using it for about 6 months now and LOVE it.
- Alfonso A.
By far my favorite!
This is by far my favorite coconut milk. It's creamy, delicious, and a great organic replacement for soymilk. The rich texture is so yummy, I love it! I've been substituting it into some of my recipes to experiment with healthier snacks and desserts and I was so happy to still get those decadent flavors and textures. I used to get it from the healthy foods store all the way across town, but the price here is a little better and it's easier to have it delivered. Thanks Thrive Market!
I Still Love This!
I have been a fan of Native Forest Coconut Milk for quite some time now. It has always been so rich and creamy and an excellent addition to my curries and Caribbean rice and beans.
However, recently I have noticed the consistency to have decreased to a more watery substance. The taste is still as delicious but serves better on my cereals or as creamer to my coffee.
And yet, the most important factors remain the same to fit my dietary needs...organic, gluten free and non-GMO. Still a fan!
- Zachary Nelson
Healthy Cooking/Smoothie Essential
Coconut Milk can be used in all kinds of cooking! When making my own curry, I use this milk every time. It makes more sense to make my own rather than buying prepackaged sauces. Sometimes I even us it in my morning smoothies!
- Danielle Bishop
I cook with Coconut milk a good bit and this one is great. very creamy texture and excellent flavor.
We put the cream that rises to the top in our coffee and the remaining water in our smoothies.
I love this coconut milk and use it all the time. I purchased 6 cans. EVERY can I received was severely dented. The damage was not caused by shipping as everything was well wrapped and there was no damage to the box. I would have never put one of these cans in my cart at a store. These cans belonged in the discount bin, not worth the savings!
This is the best canned coconut milk out there, bar none. Love it in my coffee and the cream can be whipped to make the most amazing dessert topping!
Used to love till guar gum arrived
This was my fave brand until I noticed--or until they added, not sure which--guar gum. Boo hiss.
- Anna Marie
When I ordered this coconut milk, I really didn't know what to expect. My sister had told me that she uses coconut milk in her coffee so when I went to look for some in the store, I looked in the dairy case with the regular milks and the non-dairy milks. The coconut milk in the dairy case has a bunch of other junk that I surely did not want to have in my body, so I just gave up on it until my dietician showed me this website and this coconut milk. I love it! It's so smooth and creamy and does wonders for my recipes. I was concerned that I would not be able to use it up within the recommended four days, so I checked on line and found that you can freeze it. I put some in a couple of small containers and froze for future use. Haven't tried it in my coffee yet, but I plan to as soon as I finish my half & half. I highly recommend this coconut milk.
Good Coconut Milk
I have had an issue with cans coming dented, but I use it quickly enough it isn't a huge problem. This is less of an issue to me simply because the cans are BPA free. I also don't mind so much because it tastes amazing in everything I use it for. It is sweet and savory and makes my curries and desserts alike taste wonderful. I will definitely be getting more of this as soon as it's back in stock! I am actually a little sad to see it's out of stock currently....
Favorite Brand of Coconut Milk
This is my absolute favorite brand of Coconut Oil. It is great in coffee and it brings life to my curries. I like that it is a healthy alternative to evaporated milk or cream and still tastes like I'm indulging myself!
- Sarina M.
Great in Smoothies
This Coconut milk is absolutely wonderful in smoothies and healthier than some of the alternatives. The coconut milk blends well with the fruits and veggies I use and adds a flavor that makes it naturally sweet. I really enjoy it!
- Scotty P.
Dented cans are a problem
I've had a couple of cans that came in dented, which wasn't great. The milk is good, though and I mostly use it to flavor my protein shake which is quite bland.
But opening dented cans can be an adventure. It's either a problem at the manufacturing end or at the delivery, but I'm hoping it won't keep happening.
- Jock Norris
Health cans, great taste
First off, I'm really liking the fact that this coconut milk comes in BPA free cans. I've been waging a mini war with one of the manufacturers of my baby's bottles who lied about not using BPA.
Second, the milk is great, light and aromatic, with just the right amount of texture. It's great in smoothies or for sauces. It makes them rich without adding a load of calories.
- Jelena N.
Thai dishes come alive
I'm a big fan of Thai food, so coconut milk is a must. Whether it's coconut shrimp, Thai chicken curry or even green curry, this milk works really well.
It's smooth and clear, without tasting thick or cloying. It's pure coconut milk with nothing added. I love how healthy it is compared to soy milk.
- J. Narva
Like on a tropical island
When I was in Hawaii, I drank pure coconut milk right from the husk. It was so good, lightly sweet, pure and clean tasting
This canned milk is exactly like what I drank on the island. It's not too sweet, but it has a fantastic taste. I don't use it much for cooking to tell the truth. I use it in tea and chill it for a refreshing drink.
Number one brand
I've used other coconut milks, but Native Forest is at the top. The milk is pure, no additives, very little sugar and naturally extracted.
I actually use it a lot to cream my coffee and as thickener for my smoothies. It's also great when I'm making my version of low-cal Thai curry.
- Jon Morton
My milk replacement
This stuff completely replaces milk in my kitchen. I use it in my smoothies, hot chocolate and even in my morning coffee. I use it to make pudding and custard. It works great in cream of wheat. It gives everything a delicious, creamy and smooth texture and taste.
I am so glad that Thrive Market carries this brand of coconut milk, and other coconut products.
- Rick Tindle
Thai cooking at it's best
This stuff is magnificent in Thai dishes. I love using it and it gives everything a nice creamy texture and a lovely hint of coconut flavor.
While it has many uses, I cook with it more than anything. From Thai Ginger Chicken to Spicy Coconut Noodles, this coconut milk can do it all. Don't let you pantry run out!
Great in the kitchen
The only thing I don't like about this stuff is that once it's open you have 4 days to get it used up. Sometimes in my busy life that just doesn't happen.
I love to use coconut milk for many things, from smoothies to baking. I use it in any desserts I can imagine. It adds wonderful flavor to banana nut bread and muffins.
I also love using it in custards and homemade ice cream. So delicious!
- Crista A.
Baking done Right
I really like Native Forest Coconut Milk . I use it to replace heavy cream and also evaporated in my recipes and I think that it is the key to creamier pies and fluffier breads and muffins. (Cakes too!)
I only gave it four stars because it is a little runnier than other coconut milk products, and I prefer my coconut milk thicker, but the flavor of this milk can't be beat. I also didn't like that they had guar gum in it, it seemed a little unnecessary and I would prefer an additive free milk.
Other than those two things, this milk comes in BPA free cans and tastes wonderful making it a great option still and at only $2.35 through Thrive, it is much more affordable than other places I've purchased it, such as Amazon.
- Sammy Grace
A friend recently educated me about the dangers of BPA in cans, and I must admit that I'm appalled at how many things I had been using that had BPA in the cans. I switched over this to coconut milk because they don't use BPA in their cans. I use it in my curry most of the time, and since switching, I've noticed that my curry doesn't feel nearly as thick as it used to. I wish this coconut milk was a bit thicker to give me that nice, creamy taste.
Best in smoothies
I have used this coconut milk for years. I had some disappointments, like many fans when they had an alternate supplier, but now they remain excellent. I use it in cooking sometimes, but I far prefer classic coconut milk in my smoothies.
They add a richness to smoothies, and many health benefits too.
Now my only hope is that they'll opt to use something other than cans in the future, although I am glad they are BPA free.
- Alice Kaler
an excellent choice for preparing Caribbean dishes.
It’s an excellent choice for preparing Caribbean dishes. It is creamy, BPA free and organic. I sometimes use it in my morning smoothies and it gives it a tropical flavor. I found no problems with my order and received it in good conditions. You have to use it in a very short time because otherwise it goes bad.
- Thrive User
Great alternative for smoothies
I am a smoothie addict and I am always looking for new, healthy things to add into my smoothies. I like a lot of fruit in them, and that means I have to add in something liquid to make the blender happy.
I don't like using regular milk in my smoothies (it gives me gas). I have tried soy milk (not a fan of the taste) and almond milk (too strong for some fruit blends). I like this coconut milk in them, it's just right. However, I don't always stick with this particular brand.
Best. Coconut Milk. Ever.
This stuff is fantastic. Organic, BPA-free, and very, very thick and creamy with a mild flavor. I've used it in DIY personal care products (shampoo), Tom Kha Gai (soup), curry, and smoothies so far, and it's the best I've ever had by far.
- m. griffin
Best brand of coconut milk! It has a great taste that's better than other brands, and it's non-GMO. I use it in my coffee, smoothies and curries.
