About This Brand

Healthy, great-tasting organic foods.HistoryWe’re a family of organic farmers and their ilk, descended from more farmers and more ilk. The seed of our company was planted back in the ‘30s, when Rupert Stephens inherited the family farm: Mountain Valley Farm, 89 acres of hard living, a place to grow field berries and a family.Even by Depression-era standards, where sheer inventiveness kept families going through times of scarcity, Grandpa Rupert was an odd duck. He horrified his farm neighbors by using sawdust as mulch. Rupert found ways to work with it, turning in rich crops of berries and vegetables. In 1951 his treatise on his unorthodox farming methods was published as Sawdust is my Slave.Arran Stephens grew up on that unconventional farm and came away with a lifelong love of soil and nature. His fondest memories are of helping his parents gather and spread kelp on the fields, planting corn with his father and wandering through the farm eating sun-ripened berries.Arran followed a...

Favorite Cereal

Best cereal I can find. Lower in sugar and filled with whole grains. I eat with flax milk for breakfast or dry as a snack. I end up buying at least 2 bags every time I place an order, price beats any brick and mortar store as well.

- Ashley

Our everyday cereal

We feel good eating this cereal for breakfast everyday because of it's ingredients. Since we eat it everyday, I love that it comes in a big bag so I don't have many boxes sitting around and less to recycle.

- Diane

Love this cereal!

Great simple, healthy cereal at a great price. My husband eats it almost everyday...and sometimes twice a day when his wife doesn't fix him supper :-).

- Cheryl

Basic but delicious

I eat this every morning for breakfast. It's a simple cereal, but delicious -- not too sweet but not too bland, crunchy, crispy, and light. You can add raisins or bananas or whatever else you like.

- Olivia

Pantry staple

This has been one of our favorites for many years!

- Selene

Great value

I cannot find this package in my local stores. I do not worry about running out when I order through Thrive. The value is excellent!!

- Kathy Rogers

Love it

I love Thrive Market. This is my cereal that I cannot find in this package locally. It is a life saver

- Kathy Rogers

Great cereal and decent value too.

For a healthier cereal and large value size bag, this is a good deal. Tastes great, had a wonderful crunch and won't get soggy quickly at all either. Will order again.

- Jennifer

Both of them are delicious and very filling.

- Irma

Crunchy and delicious

I love this cereal--besides tasting really good (though certainly no-frills) the thick flakes hold up well in milk.

- Jennifer

Healthy grains with a crunch

I love the combination of healthy grains in this mix and the flakes stay crunchy in milk. Great tasting cereal.

- Diane

My whole family loved these flakes. They're delicious and great for you. Get these flakes!!

- Danika

A favorite flake

These have been a family favorite for many years now. They are excellent!

- Selene

Love these flakes

Ordered these in my very first order and they will be a staple in my house now. Very good. They stay crunchy in milk and are very slightly sweet.

- Lynda

I love these with some raisins added in. Delicious bran cereal!

- Matthew

This is the only cereal I eat because it satisfies my nutritional needs, my crunchiness and good taste needs, and I eat it as a snack or with almond milk. Lots of fiber, trustworthy ingredients- and the ECO PAC gives you more yield than 2 boxes for a lower price. Check it out, it's a winner!

Go for it!

For such a great price, these sweet little flakes are worth buying. I finished the whole bag in a couple days (yikes!).

Nice alternative

If you're looking for a cereal that is certified Non-GMO, this Nature's Path product is the one to buy. It's got a nice, subtle taste that's full of healthy whole grains, and it's low in fat, calories and sugar. I'm on a low-sugar diet, so this fits right in, and I like that it's packed with fiber, but doesn't make you feel bloated when you're done eating.

- Jack Lynch

Great cereal, great price

So I've tried the Nature's Path Flax with Pumpkin seeds and granola, and I loved that one, so I wanted to see if the original flakes were as good. And they are, full of crunchy, toasted flavor with a rich crispness that goes perfectly with skim milk or almond milk, which is what I usually have in the morning.

Thrive has these for two dollars less than Amazon, which is a great deal for this economy pack, which lasts me about a week before I have to restock.

- Calvin Perez

Love these & they're hard to find

I discovered this brand entirely through this particular cereal type years ago. Now I find it a little difficult to get them at the grocery store. This one is great because some of the other flakes Nature's Path makes are corn based. Just love these. So glad Thrive carries them.

Does the tummy good

Switching entire family to healthier eating habits have been tough. It is nice to have these cereal products to replace the sugary cereals that are more readily available in supermarkets. The kids have adjusted and their health is better for it. This cereal is eaten on those days real breakfast is not possible. Happy that it comes in a very large size for such a low price. Tastes great and good for the tummy.

- Katherine

These flakes are delicious! They have just the right amount of flavor with the slightest hint of natural sweetness and taste great with any kind of milk. The quantity is a great bargain for the price! Definitely my new go-to cereal option.

- Anna

Very nutritious option for breakfast.

Very nutritious option for breakfast. Has a real crunch even after I pour almond milk. Whole grains are really good for the digestive system. I encourage all my family to eat them. I serve them to my kids in the morning. Sometimes I like adding fruits to it. The eco-pack is a plus because I’m also helping the environment by buying them this way.

- Iris Moir

Loving these!

We love heritage flakes, not too sweet and not too bland and oatey. The texture is great too, not rough and thin like some raisin brans. It holds up well if you let them soak in the milk because you have to chase down a child. They are the perfect source for whole grains.

- ecoMomma

Great choice

I found this cereal when I decided to switch to a low-sugar diet, due to the aging it does to your body and skin. This one still has a lot of flavor, without all the added sugar. This is probably because all of the wonderfully healthy whole grains have a lot more flavor than refined wheat. They also keep me full for several hours. This has been a great choice for me.
