The History of Karma Nuts

Karma Nuts was launched in 2014 by Ganesh Nair. Ganesh was dissatisfied with the oil-fried cashews common on the market and sought out a healthier alternative. Luckily, Ganesh was both an MIT graduate and part of a family that had been in the cashew business for more than 85 years. Combining his background with cutting-edge science and his family’s endless wealth of knowledge, Ganesh created the first batch of “Wrapped” cashews, which used minimal processing and no oils.

In 2016, Karma Nuts’ Wrapped Cashews were named the “Best New Snack” at Expo West, the world’s largest natural products expo.
