Supermodels can seem superhuman, but even they love a good DIY bargain when it comes to skincare.
Kentucky-born Molly Sims is a girl after our own hearts. This supermodel-turned-supermomma might have hit the genetic lottery, but she hasn’t been immune to skin conditions like acne, melasma, and eczema.
The struggle is real, and so she’s here to help the rest of us figure out just how to treat problem skin with all-natural ingredients. Here’s one of her best beauty secrets: a citrus face mask.
Papaya and honey give this mask tons of exfoliating enzyme power, and the recipe is rich with antioxidant vitamins E and C to help neutralize free radical damage. Translation: This incredible, edible citrus face mask is anti-aging and will definitely leave skin looking, feeling—and maybe tasting?—delectable.
Watch the video to see just how she whips it up, and see the recipe below!
1/2 papaya
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon fresh orange juice
2 tablespoons raw honey
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Apply mask to clean skin and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse off and follow with a moisturizer. Your skin’s gonna glow, baby, glow.
