Sweet to my tongue
I converted to coconut sugar a few years ago and love using it in coffee and as an alternative to cane. This is great product form Big Tree and THRIVE makes it very affordable.
Good for Meals, Not too Sweet!
This is a pretty good sugar to use! I like the low glycemic index. It is good for adding some sweetness, but is not overwhelming.
Blond Oganic Coconut sugar
Love this product! I use it every time I have oatmeal! It adds a huge boost to the flavor of my oatmeal! Yum!
Yep, I love it
Bought this as part of a two week detox program and will be continuing to use it in place of other sweetners going forward. Has a great, taste and sweetens as well or better than sugar. Certainly better than artificial sweetners (a.k.a. poison) and stevia products.
I have found that I love all things coconut, including coconut sugar. Big Tree Organic Coconut Sugar, Blonde, is my 2nd favorite coconut sugar which I used in place of cane sugar, very effectively!
I prefer this over cane sugar in coffee!
I really prefer this in my coffee as it adds a deeper flavor--more like brown sugar. I don't like it in tea, but it's also great on hot cereals. I've been using it for over a year and it's less expensive on Thrive than the supermarkets.
BEST refined sugar replacement!
Love the flavor and texture is perfect for replacing refined sugars in baking recipes. I actually prefer the depth of flavor it brings - almost like a blend of white and dark brown sugar.
It tastes amazing and is a great, healthy alternative to cane sugar.
I love this in my oatmeal. It is a little expensive so I do not use it for every sugar need
Best replacement for white sugar
I don't even have white sugar in our house. I only buy this sugar. It's much healthier and not as sweet.
Love this coconut sugar
So nice to have for baking.
It's not our usual brand but it works well. Maybe not as sweet as our usual.
Tastes the same as any other brand
Tastes the same as any other brand and I've tried many. So if you like coconut sugar, buy this one. It's cheaper.
Love this sugar!
Can't buy it fast enough!
I bought this on a whim and I'm very surprised that my husband absolutely loves this stuff! I swear I can't buy enough. I've taken to stocking up with 3 - 4 bags at a time, just to make sure that we never run out! We add it to coffee, hot tea, oatmeal, anywhere you would put any other type of sugar. I haven't tried baking with it yet, but I hope to sometime soon.
I used this for the first time ever to make some cookies. It was a great replacement for sugar, and the texture came out exactly like I would expect on my cookies. New pantry item going forward.
I got this for my diabetic husband but I think I'm using it more than he is. It lightly sweetens without any aftertaste. I prefer this natural product over artificial sweeteners.
Great alternative to white sugar!
I like this as a replacement for sugar in my coffee and other places as well. I find the price very competitive and the product a good alternative for sweetness.

Dissolves nicely. Looks like brown sugar and has a light sweet taste. I've only used it in no-bake chocolate oatmeal cookies so far (dissolved in the milk) which made them taste a bit like almond joys and I look forward to using it in other sweets and coffee.
GREAT in Coffee!
Has a toasted coconut-y flavor to it thats just amazing. I uses it every day in my coffee.
I bought this for my husband to use in his coffee, and he does, and he likes it! SCORE!
Still prefer raw cane sugar.
Since I am always looking for healthy sweetening alternatives, I decided to give this coconut sugar a try. I was expecting some sort of coconut flavor but that was missing completely. It had a very subtle sweetening agent but I found myself adding more spoonfuls than I would have with my usual raw cane sugar.
Overall it was good. It definitely is a lot healthier than other options but I wouldn't substitute it for my raw cane sugar just yet.

Best coconut sugar out there!
Ever since discovering coconut sugar, I've been searching for the best brands and using it to replace as many sweeteners in my kitchen as possible. I live in California and with the perpetual drought we're in, a huge factor that I consider is water usage. I've stopped buying things that include ingredients such as red meat or almonds because they take a disturbing amount of water to produce and process. I switched to coconut sugar when I can because it uses a fraction of the water necessary to produce other sugars and sweeteners. I like Big Tree's particular brand because they are both organic and fair trade certified. I'm not diabetic or trying to monitor my sugar intake in any way, but I guess it's an added bonus that it doesn't spike your blood sugar the way other sweeteners do. I personally like that it tastes kind of like brown sugar. Not quite a strong molasses flavor, but a bit caramel-y. At less than $5/bag, it's definitely cheaper than other, healthier or less water-dependent sugar alternatives. On top of the fact that Thrive has carbon neutral business processes, I definitely feel like i'm doing my part to help out the environment by getting my coconut sugar here, and it benefits me further by not breaking the bank. Win-win on all sides!
I leave it next to my espresso machine.
My office has an espresso machine that is always in use but I avoid syrups and white sugar. I found raw sugar first and used that until I found this stuff! I now leave it around the office and other people use it without thinking about it. It's better for them and they don't know it!
Certified Organic and Fair-Trade, this sugar is low on the sugar index. Very tasty and gives your body more time to digest. I mostly use it in coffee but am very excited to start using it in baking and glazes.

Very happy I tried this!
When I started being conscious of my health I had a hard time cutting back on sugar because I love everything to be very sweet. I heard about this coconut sugar palm and started adding it to my coffees and teas. It did the trick for me but I wasn't hooked quite yet. I then decided to add it to a batch of gluten-free brownies I was making and definitely did not have high hopes. It turned out to be the best match I've made yet, it gave them an amazing caramel flavor.
Other than special treats like that, the only consistent change I've made with this sugar is twice a day. I use it in my morning coffee and then night time tea. I've actually had a noticeable amount of weight-loss since I switched to this sugar and I am almost positive that this is what causing it! I'm so glad I decided to try it!

This tastes great, does NOT give me the usual sugar rush with shakes syndrome I always get with white sugar. A major plus for me. I bake with it, use it in my coffee, tea, oatmeal, etc. Very good price and quick shipping too. All a bonus!
Great Sugar Substitute
I love this coconut sugar - I use it in my coffee every day, along with a teaspoon of coconut oil. It mixes in smoothly and adds the right amount of sweetness, SO much healthier than white sugar.
I didn't know coconut sugar was a thing, so I'm glad I came across this on Thrive. It's a delicious sweetener that's low on the Glycemic Index, so it doesn't spike your blood sugar as high. This is so important to me. It is still sugar, so it has some decent calories in it, but when it comes to your health, this is so much healthier than table sugar OR any of those artificial sweeteners. I love that Thrive has such a great price on it. It's been amazing for sweetening my foods.

Cuts out white sugar
White sugar is just about as bad for you as possible. It's in almost everything we eat, and often in things we don't really think of as having sugar.
So in cutting out white sugar, I bought coconut sugar which is organic and much less damaging to the body. It's got a grainier and rougher texture, so it's not like white sugar at all. But it sweetens just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth, without all the added bad stuff in refined sugar.
Wonderful sugar substitute
Instead of reaching for Splenda or Equal, I decided it was time to go completely natural. I found this on Thrive for the best price, so I joined up because I saw some Bob's Red Mill stuff that I liked as well.
Well this sugar is really good. it's low cal and has a unique taste derived from coconuts. The description does say it tastes like brown sugar, but I found this to be more flavorful than that. I use it on oatmeal and with my green tea, and I don't miss real sugar at all.
