But Cascadian Farm is also a real place — a working, active, productive farm dedicated to bringing wholesome organic food to your table. The story of Cascadian Farm begins with the story of our founder, Gene Kahn. 40 years ago, Gene was an idealistic 24-year old grad-school dropout from Chicago, who just wanted to make a difference in the world. He recognized the delicate balance between nature and humans. Inspired by reading “Silent Spring” and “Diet For A Small Planet”, Gene wanted to go back to the land and farm in a way that would not harm the natural beauty of the earth or her inhabitants. Reviews For Raisin Bran Cereal

Based on 13 Reviews

Best Cereal

I originally bought this because it would be "healthy," but it has proved to be an excellent choice. Not only is it better for me than other cereals I normally would have chosen, it's actually the best raise bran I've ever tried. It's a keeper!

- HARRY

Excellent!

Another great product from Cascadian Farm. So glad to find it here in the Thrive marketplace and not have to search for it all over. Great flakes and raisins, excellent taste. Will order bunches again!

Raisin Bran Cereal

It's a good cereal... worth the money..

- Michael

This is on my list...

This cereal has great taste, not overly sweet (I'd even prefer less sweetness, so I can adjust as I want) with large flakes (really big flakes, which means when they get soggy, they don't disappear in the milk) and lots of raisins. It's great with almond milk and date sugar (all found on Thrive, btw).

- Carol

Yum

I enjoyed this cereal a lot and will be ordering it more, I'm sure.

cereal

It was a little bland for me

- Robert

A little too sweet

Good, but sweeter than Kelloggs! I'd rather eat a lower-sugar cereal.

- James

Lots or raisins!

Delicious and large quantity of raisins. A staple in my home.

- Lisa

Yummy!

My kids love this cereal. The bran flakes are great and don't get soggy right away in the milk. There are also lots of raisins. It's organic and GMO free. Doesn't get much better in a cereal. Give them a try.

- Kim

Start Breckfast Right!

This is a good start to my day. This raisin brand is just what the doctor ordered. It has a high fiber content and that is what I need. It tastes really good with different berries in it like strawberries, blueberries, cranberries, so many other types of fruit.

- Ladonna Penson

Delicious Cereal

I used to purchase that other brand of raisin cereal. It was okay, but had more chemicals in it than I wanted entering my body. Cascadian Farm's Raisin Brand is much better tasting and has less artificial chemicals, dyes and coloring. Great way to start my day.

- Aaron Fogle

Very healthy alternative

I bought this cereal because I am really trying to stay away from the grocery store cereals and eat more healthy. I absolutely loved this cereal. It taste so good and taste just like the regular box of raisin bran cereal. I love that this is such a more healthy alternative that I can enjoy for breakfast guilt free.

- Nati S.

Good organic alternative

A healthier version of a classic. And tasty too. The raisins are consistently soft, and the cereal is crisp. A great organic alternative to you know what.
