Waaaaay too salty

I thought it was the salt seasoning I was putting on my salad with the vinegar so next time I didn't put any seasoning but more vinegar and it was so salty I couldn't eat the salad. I don't understand why it's so salty. Not worth keeping it and I definitely won't buy it again.

I lived in Japan for about 30 years and can tell you this Ume vinegar is as good or better than many I had in Japan.. 'Ume' are Japanese salty and sour pickled plums. I use this mostly to ad to my own home made salad dressings to ad a bit of salty and sour flavor.. I highly recommend you try it and recommend the Eden foods brand Ume Plum vinegar

Love this mixed in sauces

Really upgrades vinaigrette salad dressing or which ever sauce I’m putting on my sprouted rice/quinoa. It’s too salty to use a lone though, unless you’re just adding a little to cooking water!

Yummiest on your greens!

I originally heard of umeboshi vinegar from the Kind Life (by Alicia Silverstone) website. This is honestly one of the best things I've discovered in 2020. I used to eat kale just because it was good for me or I'd add a bunch of it to a smoothie so I wouldn't taste it. But I now add this vinegar to my steamed kale with a bit of flaxseed oil and I eat it almost every morning at breakfast. If you have kids and they don't eat their greens, this will save you! It has a yummy salty-sour taste and a little goes a long way! PS- I have 3 of these in my pantry, I'm afraid to run out :)
