Why You’ll Love Gluten Free Pizza Crust Mix
Going gluten-free is something that many people do for various reasons. But doing so can mean giving up your favorite foods that contain wheat, such as pizza, pasta or bread. Luckily, companies are working hard to bring those foods back to gluten-free eaters, and Chebe Gluten-Free Pizza Crust Mix is a perfect example of this. Made with a special blend of gluten-free flours, this pizza crust tastes just like the real deal. In fact, you might not even be able to tell the difference.
A closer look at gluten
Gluten is a broad term that refers to various proteins that are found in wheat and related grains like rye, oat, and barley. These proteins actually serve to bind food together, helping them maintain their shape and provide a chewy consistency. You’ll find gluten in everything from beer to bread to pasta to cereal, so removing it from a diet can end up eliminating a number of foods, unless you have options like Chebe.
Why people remove gluten from their diet
The biggest reason people stop eating wheat is due to gluten sensitivities or celiac disease, which affect at least 3 million Americans today. Celiac disease is the most severe form and refers to an autoimmune condition that actually damages the intestines. A more common problem is gluten sensitivity, which is more or less an allergy that can also present physical symptoms including stomach pain, vomiting, and other digestive issues.
Some choose to cut gluten out of their diet as a way to decrease carb intake in order to reach health goals, especially since wheat and wheat products often contain large amounts of simple carbs (or sugars).
The Chebe story
When Chebe was started in 1999, the founder and his wife never intended to market a gluten-free product. It just happened that their favorite, naturally gluten-free bread was a hit with those suffering from gluten intolerance and celiac disease. Since they took off, the company has been committed to making shopping easier for those with gluten issues and strives to keep their products natural with as little ingredients as possible.

Best Gluten Free Crust
I have tried so many gluten free pizza crusts, it and s so hard that find a good pizza crust that is grain free and still has good texture. This crust has a good doughy texture and it is delicious! I don't do dairy, so I added nutritional yeast and used coconut milk.

This product brings relief after many years of having to make everything from scratch. It delivers on ease of use, texture (if you like moist and slightly chewy), and flavour (really it is quite clean lending itself well to any topping). Normally when I want cassava anything I have to peel wash, grate and then cook. I am so happy to have an easier alternative.
Makes a fairly small crust, cuts things a little close for two adults.
Home made pizza is so much better.
Yeast AND Gluten Free
In addition to a gluten-free diet, I am required to adhere to a yeast-free diet as well. I have been mourning the loss of pizza until I came across Chebe's. I was so happy to find a pizza crust that fit my needs and tasted good (taste gets 3.5/5)!
Not a cracker
I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease 6 months ago, and have been in a state of pizza-mourning ever since. Every GF pizza crusts I've tried has been hard and thin, like eating pizza toppings on a really crunchy cracker. This actually tasted like pizza. It was a little bit chewy, but the dough actually puffs up in the pan while cooking and has a good flavor. I was hesitant to add sharp cheese to the mix, but it added some flavor to the crust. I did add some extra Italian seasoning to the mix and brushed the crust with garlic-olive oil before topping for extra flavor. I also found I had to bake a little longer than state to keep it from getting too soggy in the middle (but that could have been from the extra oil). Overall, I am really happy with this crust and the price here is $2.00 less than my local grocery store. Will be ordering this again.
pizza crust mix
Was a bit chewy but tasted ok. I guess made with tapioca flour made it chewy.

Chebe pizza crust mix
I love the flavor of the Chebe pizza crust mix. My husband really likes it too and he doesn't have to eat gluten free.
Favorite GF Crust
Most gluten free crusts taste like cardboard. This one is has a mild flavor, enhanced by adding cheese (I shredded some parmesan) and is a slightly chewy in a good way.
Such a wonderful alternative. Easy easy easy.
My husband and I loved this pizza crust. I do suggest baking before putting on toppings per box instructions.
Maybe because I couldn't add in the cheese, maybe because I had to do an egg replacer? This is not made for substitutions - it was so sticky and turned out doughy - just gross.
You never know about gluten free mixes, but this was great. It was easy and even my husband loved it.
This is a win
I have been paleo for about 4 months. This is the first pizza crust I have attempted to make that I would eat. I've tried them all. I will order this "en mass" so I can have pizza anytime now! It is the only thing on my dinner table that I didn't make myself!
We get to eat REAL pizza on Fridays now thanx to Chebe!

I just bought this pizza crust for the first time and was really impressed with the flavor! I will definitely purchase again!
Need an egg
I bought two of the pizza crusts and am now a bit disappointed because in the description it doesn't say that you have to add an egg. I'll try it with a vegan egg substitute but I wish I had known.
Tasty and easy to make
I'm not on a gluten-free diet, but figured I'd give this crust a try and loved it. The mix itself has yummy herbs in it, and the instructions call for the addition of eggs, milk and cheese, so the end product has a lot more flavor and protein going on than a regular wheat pizza dough, even the whole wheat ones. It also crisps up really well on the pizza stone if you pre-bake it a bit. Will definitely be buying this again!
Best GF pizza crust ever...
I love this and will never ever use another pizza crust. My kids like it too, especially when I add nutritional yeast to the dough before baking. It is so easy to mix up (though the tapioca flour is very dusty), and I can get a pizza done in less than 30 minutes! Faster than delivery!!
delicious and so easy!
Have tried many options for gluten free pizza crust and this beats them all! Not time consuming or sticky as many other recipes. Delicious! I'm going to keep this on hand for an easy quick meal.
Great GF Pizza
If you're GF, you know it can be hard to find good, affordable pizza. This is the solution. The crust is really easy to make; just mix up the ingredients, roll out on a baking tray or pizza stone, top with sauce, cheese and whatever else you may want, and throw it in the oven. You'll have a delicious pizza in the same or less time than delivery, at a much lower price. If you like your pizza a little crunchier, I would suggest putting the crust in the oven for a few minutes before putting the sauce and toppings on. Enjoy!
Excellent, buying again
The crust was perfect. Directions were simple.

Chebe gluten free pizza crust
I've tried every frozen gf pizza, crust mix, cauliflower crust, and gf fresh dough balls and settled on never having pizza again because nothing was like traditional wheat pizza crust. The crusts would always get soggy or have strange tastes/aftertaste. This crust is awesome! It was easy to make and cook. The pizza was awesome hot and still really good the next day. I used shredded mozzarella in the mix, avocado oil, and half and half. I'm definitely ordering this mix again!!
Very easy to make and very tasty!!! We will be buying this again!
Delicious gluten free pizza! Gotta have it!
This crust is easy to make; no rising, follow the directions and add your favorite toppings! We had ham chunks, pepperoni, and hamburger! We just finished dinner and this product is amazing!
