About This Brand

EPIC products don’t just focus on good taste—they also want their foods to nourish the body and mind, while also being conscious of the land and of the animals that contribute to their line of products. The story behind the EPIC brand EPIC was founded by Taylor Collins and Katie Forrest after they both became vegetarians, oddly enough. They both assumed that a healthy diet was entirely plant-based and that the best sources of protein came from soy or other highly processed options. They ate a lot of carbs and very few fats, just like nutritional experts in the media advised, and they also tried going vegan and doing a raw food diet. It didn’t exactly work as hoped since their diets only made them sick with gastrointestinal distress and other inflammatory ailments. Taylor and Katie didn’t know how to maximize their wellness, so they looked for answers in the whole foods diets that our human ancestors consumed. This is also known as the Paleo diet, which focuses on foods that...

Reviews For Pork Rinds, Sea Salt & Pepper

Based on 13 Reviews

Caution, very addictive! The bags can vary in the amount of spices but I'm ok with that. Sometimes they're very spicy from the amount of pepper and sometimes less so. Either way they are sooo good! I wish the bag was a little bigger for the price but the quality is great.

I love them!

I love them!! but I think it's too little :)

Good quality

These are a little bit too peppery for me, but my boyfriend loves them. I'm a big fan of Epic because of the quality!

- Stephanie Renna

So good!

Yummy! Go to snack!

- Savage

Lots of pepper

I like these but wish they were a little lighter on the pepper. Even better would be an option with just salt.

Pork Rinds, Sea Salt & Pepper

Very tasty. Takes care of the need for something salty and crunchy!!

Best pork rinds

These are the lightest pork rinds I've ever tried and I love the amount of black pepper.

- Eric Dalehite

yummy, but too peppery

These taste yummy but are too overspiced with pepper. My mouth is burning from all the pepper. Would be tastier if my mouth wasn't on fire!

- Sheila

So good

These are really good - great for an occasional snack! I agree that there is a lot of variation on the consistency though - some fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth and some hard.

- Kristen McElveen

Good tasting crunchy snack

I really like these pork rinds. I also tried the Texas BBQ and at first thought I prefered that flavor but after trying a couple bags of each flavor I found that I like these equally as well.
There are a few pork rinds here and there that are too crunchy for me to chew but I've had that happen with every brand of pork rinds I've ever bought.

- Carrie

Pleasantly surprised at how good these pork rinds are. Just started a low carb - high fat eating plan and needed a crunchy snack. These fit right in adding fat and necessary extra salt on those days when I really feel the need for it. Very tasty and just the right peppery flavor.

- Joanne Glass

Good flavor

Pieces were mix and match in texture, some big and fluffy some small and crunchy. I found the onion flavor a little out of balance but all in all i liked them.

- Stephanie

These are great, as far as pork rinds go. They have a little kick to them, which was surprising given they are only seasoned with salt, black pepper, onion and garlic. These make a great paleo dip for guacamole!
