About This Brand

Bee's Wrap

Bee’s Wrap was founded in 2012 by Vermonter Sarah Kaeck, a mother of three who has been, by turns, an avid gardener, milker of goats, keeper of chickens, and seamstress. Bee’s Wrap started with a question facing many families and home cooks: How could we eliminate plastics in our kitchen in favor of a healthier, more sustainable way to store our food? What she discovered is a lost tradition made new again. By infusing organic cotton with beeswax, organic jojoba oil, and tree resin, she created a washable, reusable, and compostable alternativ

Great for Short Term Storage

I enjoy using this bread wrap for homemade bread. You need to eat the bread fairly quickly though because it will dry out faster than if stored in a plastic bag.

really like these, but

Posted   by Julia from POMEROY, Ohio
I bought all sizes of these Bee wraps and like them very much. The large is not large enough for a loaf of bread even a small one. I make my bread in 8inch bread pans and the wrap isn't large enough. I do use it after the bread is about 1/2 gone and it keeps it very nice. I would buy again, but not for bread.

NO more cellophane wrap

I gave up cellophane wrap when I found this product. It has a slight scent of bees wax, is easy to use and so very friendly to the environment. Give up your plastic and give it a try. It is also easy to clean and just hang dry.

I bought two of each size. They work as advertised, and I'm very happy to have almost eliminated our household use of plastic wrap.

Absolutely love this!

I've been trying to go low-waste and throwing away plastic bags from bread every week seems like a huge waste, so I started making my own bread with the Minimalist Baker's recipe for Whole Wheat Bread and using this wrap to keep it fresh! Stays fresh so much longer than store-bought bread! Just make sure your bread cools down completely before wrapping it!

Work well for me

I've tried lots of reusable wraps, bags and containers and these Beeswax wraps are my all-time favorite. They're easy to use and mold around different foods, easy to pack and easy to clean, as well as quick drying. I can't say the same about the reusable plastic wraps and bags. The stainless steel or glass containers are great for things at home, but are really too heavy for travel or carrying in my backpack for food on the go. I'd rather use that weight for my stainless steel water bottle.
