Operator error, or not designed properly

I can never use this without a pad because it always leaks. That being said, I have a girlfriend who absolutely loves her and has no issues. Perhaps I have an abnormally shaped canal, or I’m just not using it correctly, or it’s not one size fits all.

Not sure it’s a great fit

I’ve been using menstrual cups for years now. I have used the disposable versions of this (not the same brand) before and never had issues. But this one doesn’t seem to be a good fit for me. But I’ve only had a chance to try it once, so hopefully it’s just something I have to keep trying at.

I tried several times, but it always leaked very badly. I’ve had two kids and am in my thirties, so maybe it’s just not for my body.

Messy, large

This didn’t work for me at all, hard to insert and even harder to remove and empty without making a huge mess! Think it was too large for me. May try a cup next instead of the disc.

I’ve used the disposable version for a while now and was very happy to find a reusable disc! It’s a bit flimsy making it difficult to get in, but once in GREAT! No leaks or problems

Disc that makes period easier

Posted   by Roberta from Marina del Rey, California
I have low cervix and I had problems with using a cup. It would hurt me because it would still stick out a bit. I didn't want to give up on cups because I believe that they are the best option. This disc goes deeper inside and it goes just above the pelvic bone and I don't feel it at all. I am so in love with this disc.

Perfect birthday present

Posted   by Theodore from Marina del Rey, California
Got this disc for my birthday from a close friend and I was a little bit sceptical to use it because it is different from an ordinary cup. In the end I decided to give it chance and I do not regret it. It was a bit hard to insert it in the beginning, but once I got over that part and found the right place, it just works great!

Not made for every woman

It’s true there’s not many “one size fits all” especially concerning women’s menstrual needs. I’ve given birth to five babies, my cervix has definitely gotten strange comments from doctors ?? So I think this cup may be best for women with less experience in the cervix altering department... well I got it in and it was comfortable but it didn’t stay in place. I emailed back and forth with customer service with Intimina and read through the instructions several times. I’m not missing anything, accept perhaps the cervix appropriate for this “cup.” Honestly, if you haven’t already, start with the Diva Cup...

I broke up with Ziggy, but Thrive is still my boyfriend.

I am an experienced menstrual cup user and a loyal Thrive Market customer. I wanted to give the menstrual disc a try and decided to buy the Ziggy cup because it is the version that Thrive sells. I wanted it to work so badly, and went through all the steps to make sure I was getting the “hang of it.” The cup is fine for lots of other people, just not for me! The length of this oblong cup made it keep popping out from beneath my pelvic bone. I was so sad. And I was worried that I spent $40 on a dead end, until I contacted Thrive customer support. They refunded me in full, and didn’t bat an eye. I. Love. Thrive.

This cup does the job for me. I tried different ones and this one I can't feel at all and I don't have any leaks . It has fulfilled my expectations.
