As Thrive Market employees, we know a lot about our products. We swap recommendations, we sample from the “free table” at Thrive Market HQ, and we’re the first to add newly-launched items to our orders. Editor’s Picks is a monthly column rounding up the top three products our blog editors are loving.
In September, we snacked and sipped our way into fall (and even found something for our furry friends). For these and more of what the Thrive Market blog editors bought and loved this month, read on.
I love the smoky, tangy, slightly spicy flavor of this Moroccan harissa sauce. I consider it a pretty all-purpose condiment, though my favorite way to use it is as a topper for avocado toast.
Thrive Market Organic Ceremonial Matcha Tea
Good-quality matcha can get pricey quickly, which is why I’m so impressed by the quality and the price point of our Thrive Market matcha. It’s ceremonial grade, which means it’s the highest quality you can buy, and it has a deep, grassy flavor that comes out once it’s whisked.
Native Pet Wild-Caught Omega Fish Oil for Dogs
Not exactly a pick for myself, but this easy-to-use fish oil pump has become a much-appreciated supplement to my dog’s diet. I noticed that the dry Southern California weather started making her skin itchy, and in my hunt for an ethically sourced fish oil for dogs, I came across this wild-caught omega oil that makes a deliciously smelly addition to her kibble. (Pippa’s opinion, not mine!)
f.a.e by Thrive Market Beauty Latte Collagen Supplement, Spiced Chai
Now that the weather is cooling down, I’m prepping my cabinets for warm beverage moments and our new collagen lattes are definitely going into my rotation. Made with marine collagen, you get 11g of protein per cup and a comforting blend of spices like cardamom and cinnamon without the added sugar. I froth almond milk for a coffee shop experience right at home.
Pamela’s Honey Graham Crackers
It’s s’mores season! In the fall I always keep my pantry stocked with Pamela’s gluten-free crackers for impromptu hang outs around the fire pit. They hit the spot and are so good that I’d choose them even if I wasn’t trying to avoid wheat.
Better Life Tub & Tile Cleaner
Cleaning the bathroom isn’t my favorite chore, but it’s a lot more satisfying when my spray gets the job done in one swipe and makes everything feel extra fresh. The formula is really foamy, nontoxic (always a priority!), smells refreshing from the eucalyptus, and removes scum easily.
LesserEvil Organic Himalayan Pink Salt Popcorn Snack Pack
These LesserEvil popcorn snack packs are my newest obsession. They’re delightfully tasty, and ordering the single serving packs ensures a premium snacking experience without the “Oops, I did it again” guilt of inhaling the whole bag in one sitting.
Thrive Market Organic Raw Wildflower Honey
Recently I swapped all my artificial sweeteners and zero-calorie syrups for honey. I now use Thrive Market’s wildflower honey in my oatmeal, my matcha, and when baking. Most bottled honey has a slight aftertaste for me, but this one is perfectly sweet.
Siete Mexican Shortbread Cookies
I consider myself a cookie connoisseur so when I say these little discs of deliciousness are the best shortbread cookies ever, I am not exaggerating. They’re buttery, cinnamon-y, crispy, and oh so sweet. Good luck not devouring them in one day.
Fix & Fogg Peanut Butter and Jelly
Growing up and bringing Korean food for school lunches, I always had a deep fascination and craving for traditional American school fare. How Fix & Fogg were able to jam both peanut butter and jelly into one jar in a manner that balances the both is astounding. Slam dunk from New Zealand.
Tom’s Aluminum Free Deodorant for Men, Rugged Coast
I don’t know what Rugged Coast Tom’s of Maine is referring to, but I’m moving there. The quest for an aluminum free deodorant has been long and arduous, but it finally feels like I found an everyday companion. The all-paper, totally recyclable packaging is a huge plus too.
A huge shoutout to photographer and friend, Elisha Knight, for turning me onto Poppi. Working at our studio demands a strong, effervescent drink in hand at all times, and this bev satisfies that need beautifully. It’s orange soda that makes you feel like a kid again—perfectly sweet and tart without any artificial flavors. It’s perfect for the dog days of summer (and fall).
I’ve never really been into protein bars; for me, they’re an emergency food, i.e. I only eat them if it’s a true hunger emergency. While researching a soon-to-be-published story on the brand GoMacro, I got to try a bunch of their plant-based bars, and let me tell you, my mind has been changed. They’re really good! I like Cherries & Berries crumbled over Greek yogurt, and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip is good around 3pm when I wish I had a cookie.
Thrive Market Organic White Jasmine Rice
Release yourself from the tyranny of brown rice! Just kidding, brown rice is great, but if you’ve got to give our white jasmine rice a try. It’s quick to make, delightfully fluffy, alluringly fragrant, simple yet satisfying…the perfect foil for the richly spiced Yewande Komolafe sheet pan recipe I mentioned back in June (and so many other things). I plan to use it to experiment with some congee recipes this fall.
Cocomels Chocolate-Covered Cocomel Bites
I bought these dairy-free caramel candies a while ago, forgot about them, then rediscovered them a few nights ago when I needed something to comfort me through the dramatic ending of “Killing Eve.” I’ll never forget you again, deliciously sweet-and-salty little caramel balls. In fact, I’m putting you on Autoship.
