New Chapter: Trailblazing a Path to a Better Vitamin

New Chapter pioneered a new wave of both practice and thinking in the nutritional supplementation market: That every product created should make a genuine contribution or breakthrough (or, dare I say... a "new chapter") in nourishment, protection, or health — else, it shouldn’t be produced at all.

This commitment to quality and environmental sustainability have distinguished New Chapter from its competition, and allowed it to maintain its standing over the years as a leader in the multivitamins and minerals field.

History of New Chapter

You may have heard the common saying, “be the change you wish to see in the world.” The folks over at New Chapter really took this sentiment to heart. Founders Paul and Barbii Schulick started out as retailers in 1982, only to realize that the market was missing what they needed personally in terms of vitamin offerings. From this personal sense of dissatisfaction sprung a new mission: to innovate for the industry and develop these very product offerings, which included a line of herbs, along with cultured whole food vitamins and minerals.

New Chapter's Values

At the core of New Chapter are its values, which permeate not only through their company culture, but also to their products.

These values include:

Purity

This drives their commitment to organic ingredients — in fact, they trailblazed their way to being the first company in the world to produce a full line of certified organic whole food multivitamins and minerals.

Wholeness

Like it or not, most of the conventional vitamins, supplements, and minerals on the market are synthetic chemical isolates — a step above snake oil. New Chapter products are uniquely wholly composed of whole food, which means that they’re easily digested and absorbed — so you’re always ready to go, even on an empty stomach!

Passion for nature

New Chapter actually sources many of their ingredients from Luna Nueva, their very own biodynamic farm nestled in the Costa Rican rainforest. They took this to the next level by becoming the first vitamin and supplement company to have at least 85 percent of its products Non-GMO Project Verified.

Respect for scientific validation

The cherry atop the New Chapter sundae is their deep commitment to science. Their scientific team and research partners consist of some of the world’s most respected scientific minds — hailing from traditional and naturopathic medicine, integrative medicine, urology, biology, biochemistry, agriculture and nutrition.

Pioneering Product: Zyflamend Whole Body Herbal Formula

Zyflamend is the number one best selling herbal in the U.S., and for good reason. Zyflamend is a sweet lullaby to inflammation,  cajoling it to gradually quiet — supporting a more healthy inflammation response to help support joint health amongst a myriad of other benefits.

It does this by:

  • Using only super pure and potent ingredients
  • Quenching free radicals to support healthy aging with whole-food antioxidants including ginger, turmeric, green tea, and rosemary
  • Offering a multitude of naturally occurring compounds rather than isolated ones

Are you looking for an addition to your daily multivitamin? To increase your overall sense of health and wellness? Give Zyflamend  a try and see what people all around the U.S. are clamoring about — or one of New Chapter’s other great product offerings, like their Every Woman Multivitamin or Bone Strength Take Care Calcium Supplement.

5 Ways to Take A Better #Foodstagram

good article. that is not an actual Ghandi quote, Google it for more info.

This article is quite misleading. New chapter is not some little company, they are owned by proctor and gamble. They are made by fermenting those same synthetic chemical isolates, that you claim are one step above snake oil, with yeast. Not sourced from whole foods as you claim in the article. Yes they do add a pinch of food to the formulas, but the vitamins are not made from food. They are finally labeling the products with what synthetic and isolated vitamins are being used, you can see by looking at the label of their new postnatal vitamin:

You should not be claiming that these vitamins are made whole food. A true whole food vitamin is made from just from whole foods, not feeding, fermenting or mixing synthetic or isolated vitamins with a spec of food.
