Why You’ll Love Organic Coconut Cream, Unsweetened, 2-pack
Take your mouth on an exotic adventure by creating special treats with organic coconut cream. Native Forest’s rich, premium variety is a wonderful substitute for dairy that will bring out the flavor of any recipe. It’s made of only natural ingredients, including coconut, water, and guar gum, which acts as a thickening agent to make desserts like pie, pudding, and ice cream super creamy and frothy.
Nutritional value of coconut cream
The main ingredient of Native Forest Unsweetened Organic Coconut Cream is coconut milk, which offers a healthy dose of saturated fats. Each two tablespoon serving has 60 calories and less than one gram of sugar. It’s also vegan-friendly, kosher verified, lactose-free, gluten-free, and non-GMO certified with no additives, preservatives, or artificial flavoring. So, the unique mixture not only tastes good, but also produces a number of great health benefits.
The many health benefits of coconuts
Because Native Forest Organic Coconut Milk is derived from a potent superfood, consuming it on a regular basis can bring about these healthy bonuses:
- Keeping the heart healthy – The magic ingredient of the coconut is a heavy concentration of lauric acid, which not only has antiviral and antibacterial properties but is also directly linked to heart health. It’s an effective tool for lowering blood pressure and reducing cholesterol.
- Building strong muscles – The fats you get from the tropical nut are the good kind known as medium-chain triglycerides. MCTs are known to have a direct impact on physical impact by reducing energy loss so it inspires the body to keep moving and burning calories. Coconut milk is also rich in potassium and magnesium, both of which help to rebuild muscles after being broken down.
- Combatting fatigue – Electrolytes are an important part of any active person's diet, and coconut milk is full of them. Particularly helpful after an exhaustive workout or activity, electrolytes are also necessary for periods of hot weather and after illness to help prevent dehydration and keep a healthy blood volume level.
- Preventing anemia – The iron content of coconut milk is not significantly high, but for those on meat-free diets, it’s often difficult to find plant-based products that have any sufficient amount of the essential mineral. When consumed regularly, coconut in all its forms can help prevent anemia and other side effects of low iron counts.
- Managing diabetes and blood sugars – Most desserts have high levels of sugar, but not those made with coconut milk. It’s often recommended as a sweetener alternative (particularly for diabetics) since the MCTs can help regulate sugar flow into the bloodstream, preventing “sugar highs” and assisting in managing blood sugar levels.
The all-natural beauty of coconut cream
Coconut cream has revolutionized the beauty industry, and has become an exceedingly popular main ingredient in many products, including this face cream. But there’s even more ways it can enhance the natural beauty of your skin and hair.
Gentle makeup remover
Because coconuts have antimicrobial properties, using it as a cleanser is an effective way to remove makeup, dirt, and oil from your skin after a long day and keep your pores clear overnight. Dab some of Native Forest’s Organic Coconut Cream onto a cotton pad and wipe over your face to remove residue. Not only will it be an effective cleanser but it’s also super moisturizing, keeping your skin silky smooth. Because it’s free of harsh additives found in more traditional beauty products, it’s also a great option for those with sensitive skin.
Moisturizing eye cream
The wealth of vitamin E in coconuts makes it a super powerful moisturizer, too, which is great for more sensitive areas like the eyes. Dab a little of the cream under the eye area to help with fine lines and puffy skin.
Hydrating lip balm
Like your sensitive eye area, coconut cream is a boost for tender lips, too. Native Forest Organic Coconut Cream works great to protect, replenish, and hydrate. Apply a generous amount daily to experience the best results.
Powerful bug bite remedy
Bug bites are also no match for coconut cream. Dab some onto bites, burns, and bruises for fast itch and pain relief.
Soothing shaving cream
Another use is a rich shaving base for legs, underarms, even sensitive facial areas. Coconut cream will moisturize as you apply the blade, and then calm the skin after.
Distressed hair can be nourished by coconut cream, too. Mix it with olive oil for a quick and easy conditioner that provides moisture and manageability while also strengthening each strand. Leave on for at least five minutes before rinsing, or longer for a deep conditioning effect.
Coconut cream recipes
Coconut cream is a very healthy alternative to dairy that makes it perfect for adding to desserts, snacks, and many other dishes, like these.
Who knew vitamin C could taste so good? This sweet smoothie whips up carrots and bananas and adds shredded coconut, dates, vanilla extract, and some classic OJ for a tropical treat that can be enjoyed for breakfast, a midday snack, or even dessert. Add a dash of coconut milk to make it even creamier.
Coconut milk is an essential ingredient in Indian and Thai curry recipes, like this tasty dish. Roasted eggplant is met with the rich flavors of turmeric and paprika, and cooked with ghee. The meal packs a ton of flavor with low calories, and is a great addition to any vegetarian or vegan diet.
Update tapioca with this texture-rich pudding that combines the sweetness of apricots, honey, and coconut cream (or milk) with the crunch of healthful chia seeds. Garnish with pistachios for even more effect.
Coffee creamer goes dairy-free with this easy recipe. Soak cashews and blend, and then add in coconut oil, coconut cream, and honey for a rich addition to your morning brew. There’s even variations to make it vanilla or hazelnut flavored.
You might just call coconut cream the super replacement for all its natural cooking and beauty swaps. Thankfully Native Forest’s organic variety comes in a two-pack so you can have double the supply at the ready.

Love cooking with this!
I love this coconut cream for my cooking. I use it often to flavor my curries and my favorite thing about this item is the quantity in a can. It allows me to use what I need and not have to waste anything. Bigger cans often get leftover and forgotten in my fridge. The coconut cream is fresh and very flavorful. This is a staple in my kitchen!
Coconut Cream? Not so much
I bought this to make coconut whipped cream, but instead of it being a can of actual cream, like what you'd removed from the top of a can of coconut milk, it was just thicker coconut milk. I couldn't make whipped cream with it; way too liquidly. Such a disappointment.
best coconut milk ever
I love coconut milk in everything, but this is the best tasting coconut milk. Hands down
I have enjoyed every product I ordered. I am not ready to order again yet. Thank you also for the coconut cream/ milk recipes. I have used it overy my cereal, it was a nice change.
- Tonya Shipley
Love this! I use a T of the chunky part and a T of the liquid in my morning coffee. Blend for 15 seconds and your coffee is just as creamy as using dairy.
Great Ice Cream
I bought this to use when making Ice Cream. Great product with a great taste. Love it!
I was not too pleased with this order this time. The previous order of coconut cream was just that, creamy but this time it was more like coconut oil and water.

Organic Coconut Cream
I like the tiny cans. They are just right for one serving.
I keep a supply of these and use it in my tea. I like this brand because it is super smooth. It's also great mixed with dairy free chocolate chips for a nice ganache.
Love the Suze and a good value.
I misread the description and thought these were soup can size so I was thrilled at the price! Nope! Tomato paste sized! Cheaper at Trader Joe's and I'm assuming at an Asian grocery, too.
Perfect Healthy non-dairy creamer and much more!
I use this in my coffee and hot tea everyday. I love the consistency and flavor. Also the size is just the right amount to remain fresh after it's opened.
Really enjoyed this—smooth and flavorful. Made a stir fry curry sauce with this as a base and it was excellent. I like this better than the coconut milk. Really good stuff.
Works great in any recipe and the taste is awesome!
these are delicious and are great for soups, coffee, stews, desserts, waffles, pancakes anytime you would use milk or cream
Good quality, thick, creamy. I'm not really sure how much this varies from just regular canned coconut milk though. Seemed about the same to me.
Great as a milk, or refrigerate and take the cream off the top for a creamy whipping cream.
I like mixing this coconut cream with some coconut milk to froth and add to my coffee. So delicious!
Thick and creamy with no added stuff. I can't drink coffee without it.
love to use this in my coffee. i didn't realize the cans were so tiny unfortunately... it's not as good a deal as i thought.
So, so good!
It was exactly what I needed and had great texture and taste.
I love coconut cream!
Love this stuff! It's the perfect dairy substitute as a creamer, for curries/milky sauces, or as a topping for dessert. The cans are very small, so take note of that.
Ever since i began my dairy free journey, I have been on a quest for the most satisfying alternative for my morning coffee. I only enjoy 1 cup a day, so it has to be delicious. This little can holds the best part of any container or coconut milk or cream. It is also the creamiest of them all. While I have come to realize it is largely due to the emulsifiers (guar gum), this one is an organic plant based one. I'm okay with that. Smoothies and soups are also lucky recipients of this coconut cream, but my morning coffee is the deal maker or breaker for what i stock my cabinet with.
More like milk than cream
These cans have about half cream and the rest is full of separated coconut water. I've tried a couple of different recipes, but they just don't work like cream. Doesn't whip up like cream - too thin and liquidy. Also didn't care for it in my chai, very thin.
Probably won't buy again.
I read reviews on how coconut cream is great used for thickening. I use it only, and religiously, as creamer for my coffee. It's a rich, healthy and lovely replacement for dairy options.
Great hair product!
I love using this coconut cream as a hair product! It is a great moisture treatment and works well as a protein for hair too. Most people use coconut milk as an at-home hair treatment but I have found that the cream works a lot better because it is thicker, easier to spread, and doesn't drip everywhere!
The 5.4 oz cans are also the perfect amount for hair treatments. When I use it I apply it to the entirety of my dry hair, from roots to end, and then put a shower cap on and let it sit for 30 minutes to an hour. Then I wash my hair normally and it smells and feels amazing!
- Erika Olson
Great taste, not too creamy.
These small cans pack excellent coconut flavor. Yet, most of the time it is less creamy and more like coconut milk.
Chilling it in the refrigerator may not change the consistency but can still be used a great creamer or even a delicious milk substitution.
In addition to the wonderful taste, you can enjoy knowing it is organic and the cans are BPA free!
- Agnes Moss
Miracle product for Vegans!
LOVE this stuff! You can use it for literally anything that would normally require cream.
This may sound a little odd, but it's also great as a cheap, natural DIY hair treatment! Just comb it into dry hair, put your hair up in a shower cap, then wash it out 30 minutes later. You get protein and moisture in one, and it smells great!
I also love that the packaging is BPA-Free, and the cream itself is organic and non-GMO. Perfect!

Organic, BPA-free coconut DREAM
Coconut cream is fantastic. My best friend is a dessert chef but she's trying the paleo diet and she SWEARS by it for a milk substitute. Her desserts were so delicious I decided to try some myself in my cooking, but it was hard to find manufacturers who didn't have BPA in their cans. Bestie saves the day again by directing me to Thrive Market and that's where I found the coconut cream from Native Forest. The cans are small, but that actually ended up being perfect since a little goes a long way. Anyway, it's got a creamy coconut flavor. I love in my coffee, it works great for my shakes, and--at the recommendation of my co-worker--I even started using it on my hair recently! It's great for strengthening and moisturizing. Love love love it!
- Gwen Fletcher
Great for Whipped Toppings and Coffee
Having bought Coconut Cream in the past, this brand is not as thick as I would have expected. The taste was rich and amazing though!
Sometimes we refrigerate the can, whip up the cream and add a wee bit of sugar for a rich whipped topping. We also add it to coffee and smoothies to add thickness and flavor.
Unlike other brands, this can is BPA-Free! No need to consume chemicals from containers if you can help it!
- Monique Young
Small Can...so take notice.
This is a good product but it is 1/3 the size of most coconut milks. It's condensed, so you can add water and still have a decent product, but I did not notice the small size before I ordered...so I wanted to point this out. I prefer the larger size for recipes and smoothies.
Love it- Best coffee creamer ever!
I recently went uber paleo and started using this instead of cream in my morning coffee. and Wow.. this is amazing. So much better, and more convenient for travel too!
Love the thicker consistency than coconut milk. Delicious flavor too.
Product ok, cans not
i like coconut cream for my coffee and green tea, as it's got a great flavor that I really enjoy. What I didn't enjoy was the fact that both cans arrived with dents. Small thing, I know, but I just like to have my product come in good condition. It didn't affect flavor or anything like that, but still gets three stars for that.
- Adam Masters
Good cream, wish it was thicker
I like the taste of this coconut cream, it's really strong, but the cream isn't as thick I'd prefer. It's actually just a bit heavier than coconut milk, and it should be a lot thicker. I'm not sure there's a huge difference between this cream and the coconut milk I've bought before, as they're both organic and natural, and the flavor is similar. I suppose this is a bit thicker and better for things like mousse and pudding, but overall I'm satisfied, so 4 stars.
- A. Morance
Outstanding coffee creamer!
Although I like coconut milk, I really like coconut cream as a substitute for my old coffee creamer. This is a pure organic product that adds flavor to my coffee and I love to drink it black once I put in the cream. I'm saving myself a lot of calories and sugar using this as my creamer, so I'm glad Thrive is offering this for a great price.
Yep, I use this in a very non traditional way. Pure coconut cream is wonderful for my hair as a leave in conditioner, so that's how I use this product. It goes on thick and penetrates deeply, and when I wash it out with shampoo it leaves my hair nourished, the roots strengthened and my scalp less itchy. If your hair needs more protein, coconut cream may be the answer. It is for me.
- Alissa M.
Vegan and Gluten free friendly
As a new adherent to a gluten free diet, I have to be very careful what I eat. But I don't like missing out on things I used to love, including coconut, so this is fantastic. It's gluten free and vegan, and it's great substitute for coconut milk in a lot of recipes. It's also ideal for chocolate desserts such as mousse and chocolate coconut cake.
- Alberto Maldonado
This coconut cream is amazing! Great for vegan desserts. It is so good and the price on Thrive is great!
Not for the picky pallet
It took me a long time to get used to eating coconut cream. I still can't stomach coconut water. When I do use this I have to be picky about what it's in or it ruins the taste for me.
Great in baking and in some candy recipes, but I wouldn't eat it by itself although I know some people do. It's definitely a healthy product worth adding to your diet.
- Chris Show
Great for baking
I use this coconut cream in place of milk products for many things, including frosting. It is very good tasting and adds a different taste to the stuff you use it in. I like that it makes everything creamier.
My children will eat it in things that I have baked, but they don't like the flavor in stir fries or by itself. They often catch me sneaking a spoonful and say, "Ew."
- C. Lupercio
High fiber health food
High fiber isn't the only benefit of coconut though. It fights heart disease and obesity. It makes a great replacement for many things, especially milk based products.
While it does take some people a moment to get used to the taste of coconut milk/butter/oil/cream, you will find you love it once you do. This is a great product and very good for the body!
- Lloyd W.
Replacement for Milk
I've been trying to cut out lactose in most of my food, and despite many attempts to figure something out, I just couldn't bear to part with it in my smoothies. This coconut cream has finally made me give up the milk, but I'll admit that this still isn't a perfect solution. It has a thinner texture than milk, so I just end up adding more frozen fruits and veggies to make up the difference. It tastes pretty good, and I think it actually tastes about as sweet as my milk did. I'm happy I found this!
Creamy, but runny
This could be both a good and a bad thing. This coconut cream isn't as thick as other brands. It's more the consistency of a coconut milk, but richer in flavor.
While I wish it was a little thicker, yet still easy to pour, I do like to use this in my cooking. It also makes a great ice cream base. I most often use it in smoothies when I don't have coconut milk on hand.
- Allie River
Thicker than coconut cream
I still have mixed feelings about coconut cream. I like it in my smoothies, but often have to add something more "watery" to the mix to get my blender to blend the ingredients well. There really isn't much difference between coconut milk and coconut cream but the consistency.
This stuff can be used in backing, cooking and drinks. I have even tried it out in mixed drinks and it helps make a mean pina colada.
It's great if you are looking for something with a little more thickness than coconut milk, and a bit less than coconut oil (first out of the jar, that is).
- W. Leeson
Best sweet cream alternative, ever!
Having eliminated dairy, I was still craving sweets like whip topping. Coconut Milk filled the sweet, creamy void. I use it on top of pies, cakes, pancakes, and in many recipes that call for milk or cream. It's so tasty, even if you don't like coconut, it's better than a stomach ache for a little milk.
A word of warning, never shake the can. The fluffy cream makes up about half the can. The rest is a watery liquid and if they combine, you'll loose the cream.
