I sprinkle them on fresh banana slices for a late night dessert. Some people did not like the small pieces of coconut, wanted larger, but it works well for me.
I don't know that this price is much different than what my local store sells it for, but regardless I like this product. The flavor is not that strong in my opinion. I mostly use this to make peanut butter balls and I can't really taste the coconut at all but it's probably overpowered by the other flavors. I also use this as a topping on smoothie bowls. It's a great way to eat healthy fats.
I bought this when I finished another brand of organic shredded coconut purchased elsewhere, and this brand tastes so much more like fresh coconut. Mixes well in smoothies, too.
Very finely cut and faint flavor, if that's what you want
Awesome and exactly as labeled, but compared to other brands of organic shredded coconut, this one just doesn't fair as well. Very faint coconut flavor and extremely fine cut (more like tiny sprinkles). You need to use more to get the same result. (I use for making homemade paleo chocolate).

Just made some coconut milk with this and it tastes awesome! Definitely a staple in my cupboard from now on, and I'll never run out of coconut milk again!
Best tasting shredded coconut we've ever used and we've tried many. However, haven't yet had the pleasure of tasting Thrive's so can't compare it to that.

Not dry like I was expecting.
My girlfriend always uses coconut shreds to add to her baked goods. I have never been much of a fan, however. I find them to be so dry where I have to keep chewing before I can swallow the pieces.
She assured me these would be different. And she was right. They have been the best by far. Not at all dry as I was expecting, these actually made the right addition to her cupcakes. I do wish they were a little bit sweeter, but I can settle for the great texture for now. So good, I have started using them in my smoothies!

Great for Breakfast and Dessert
I bought this coconut because it is Organic and Non-GMO! I use it on my breakfast oatmeal for an added punch and on top of my ice cream to add a little crunch. I love coconut so very much!
What I would have liked was a little more flavor. Some coconut flakes are a little more chewy because they are coated. These flakes are not coated which is healthier- I'm just picky. I wish Woodstock made a chewy vs. crunchy option.

I've always been a coconut fan and this organic shredded is awesome. It's so much better than the sweet store bought products I'm used to having and it's better for you.
I like to have it as a healthy dessert as it's really good on fruits, in yogurt, and with a lot of other sweet but healthy treats.

Best Shredded Coconut
This shredded coconut is the best I've ever tried. Just crunchy enough without being dry, nice fresh taste, great on cereal or sprinkled on a smoothie for some extra crunch!
