Bobo's Oat Bars

Bobo’s Oat Bars was developed out of a simple mother-daughter baking tradition and quickly became a sought-after snack enjoyed by families, students, athletes and health minded people everywhere. These tasty bars are made with only four organic ingredients of the highest quality, without any additives, artificial sweeteners, or GMOs. This is because the mission at Bobo’s is to feed their consumers as they would their family, never compromising quality or taste. The inspiration behind Bobo’s Oat Bars Beryl Stafford, the founder of Bobo’s, built her company from humble beginnings as a catering entrepreneur and mother. She cherished the rare time at home baking with her young daughters and was considered a baking pro by her family and friends. One stormy Sunday, Beryl and her older daughter Alex (aka Bobo) decided they needed a warm, hearty snack for the dismal weather. They settled on a simple, unassuming oat bar recipe that was the perfect remedy to the gloomy day. Together, they baked the first Oat Bar and created the very recipe that Bobo’s uses today. Their bars were so good that Bobo began sharing them with her school-friends. Soon they spread from classmate to classmate, parent to parent, house to house and they quickly became a neighborhood buzz. Beryl and Bobo knew they had something special in their hands, so they brought their bars and went to all the coffee shops in town until most store owners in Boulder knew Bobo’s by name. Bobo’s had few competitors during it’s rise in 2003, but most of the other brands didn’t offer hearty, wholesome foods that were packaged in the same convenient way. From the very beginning Bobo’s has stayed true: committed to baking in simple ways with a minimal ingredient list that people could feel good about, and that hasn’t changed to this day. Mainstay ingredients of Bobo’s Oat Bars Without giving away its recipes entirely, Bobo’s is happy to share some of the recurring lists of ingredients that characterize its healthy, delicious bars. A combination of the following ingredients make Bobo’s Oat Bars truly nourishing, tasty, and ethical. The ingredients include, but are not limited to: Oats: The humble oat is the base of all of Bobo’s products. This wholesome grain provides the slow burning carbs and protein to get you through the busy day. Brown Rice Syrup: This gives Bobo’s bars their delicious syrupy sweetness while avoiding fructose. Buttery Spread: This butter-substitute keeps all of Bobo’s products vegan and dairy-free without compromising on taste or texture. Organic Cane Sugar: Bobo’s uses whole unrefined cane sugar. In fact, it’s the least refined cane sugar you can find outside of a cane stalk. Other health characteristics Among other health attributes, Bobo’s Oat Bars encompass the following characteristics: Organic Non-GMO Project Verified Vegetarian Vegan Dairy free Certified kosher Certified gluten-free Made in USA No artificial ingredients No trans fats No preservatives Bobo’s products Bobo’s Oat Bars at Thrive Market Original This simple recipe is the base of every bar Bobo’s creates, and it remains a steadfast favorite among Bobo’s customers.
