Why You’ll Love It

As everyday impurities find their way into our bodies, we may be left feeling tired or out of balance. Yogi DeTox is a gentle way to help the body cleanse itself by aiding the two primary filtering organs, the liver and kidneys. Our tea uses the time-honored purifying herbs Burdock and Organic Dandelion to support the liver, and Juniper Berry to promote kidney function. The traditional Ayurvedic cleansing blend called “trikatu” (Ginger, Black Pepper, and Long Pepper) supports blood flow, while Indian Sarsaparilla adds spicy flavor. When combined with an overall wellness program, DeTox helps bring healthy balance from within.* *These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. About This Brand

Tea that is rich with flavor and healthful purpose. Our story begins in 1969 when Yogi Bhajan, an inspired and inspiring teacher of holistic living, started teaching yoga in America. He shared the wisdom and knowledge of Ayurveda and healthy living that he had mastered in India with his students while serving a specially spiced tea, which they affectionately named "Yogi Tea." The recipe contained five traditional Ayurvedic spices: cardamom seed, cinnamon bark, clove bud, ginger root and black pepper. When blended and brewed, these delicious spices leave you feeling vibrant and alive, while boosting overall well-being. Intrigued by the complex flavor and inherent health benefits of this unique combination of spices, it wasn't long before several of the yogi's students were inspired to brew their own "Yogi Tea."In 1984 this grassroots endeavor blossomed into the Yogi Tea Company. Packages of the rough, dried spices began to appear in natural foods stores throughout Southern California....

Tastes great

I love this tea! It has a great blend of different liver cleansing herbs. I drink this every morning.

DeTox

Not sure it did any detoxing, but was nice to drink. I'm not saying it didn't detox, I am not sure I knew what to expect. I can say this is a nice relaxing tea.

- Catherine

I drink it almost daily!

This detox is my go to. It helps prevent any bloating or gas from starchy and lactose foods. I will usually drink it before bed as well to help clean my system over night. It works great with juice cleanses and lemon cayenne water as well.

Good tea

This tea really does help clean out my system. I try not to use it very often, and when I do I always drink some water with it too (on the side, not just the water I use to brew the tea). I find that if I don't have the extra water I don't have as much energy.

Great Detox

I use this tea often... and to detox from many things. After I've gotten over a sickness I use it to help flush the rest of the garbage out of my system. I also use it anytime I need to drop some weight in order to fit into a new outfit or a bridesmaids dress.

Love.

Been drinking this for several years now. It definitely is strong, but I enjoy the zing and the way it helps clear my chest and get me ready for the day ahead. Or the way it helps me ease away stress/tiredness after a long day.

Down the list on my favorites

I buy most of the Yogi teas, but this was my first time trying this one, and it's not at the same level as the green tea or the honey lavender. This is supposed to cleanse you and get your body purified, but the flavor is way too strong, and it isn't one that I enjoy that much. And over the past few weeks, I haven't felt that different in terms of greater energy, not the way I do with some of Yogi's other teas, so I can't really recommend this.

Wasn't for me

I wanted to jump on the detox bandwagon, so I purchased some of this Yogi DeTox Tea. The taste is not for me. I don't think this particular combination of detoxing ingredients was right for me either. The main reason for this is the fact I was constipated and had a difficult time urinating.

My doctor told me not everyone reacts to the same medication or herbal tea as the next person. There are times when your body can take on the opposite of the desired reactions. I shouldn't worry about it and am going to try another of Yogi's teas next time.

I love how my hair feels

I love how my hair feels after using this shampoo. It is soft, silky and shiny. After using if for how many weeks now I really noticed that it made my hair healthier and thicker. I love pairing it up with its conditioner because it is just divine. I feel like im doing a hair spa treatment on my hair everyday.

Healthy, but not my cup of tea

While this isn't one of my favorite tea flavors, I do like what it does for the body. It's cleansing and helps keep the liver and kidneys healthy and functioning properly. It has kind of a spicy taste, which might take some getting used to. I like a more fruity flavored tea myself.

For anyone that likes different teas, I would still highly recommend this, not only for it's health benefits, but also because Yogi Tea is a great product.
