The Details

Why you’ll love this box

Bright, effusive fruit flavors might make this Bonnet Rouge from Beaujolais your most versatile table wine. It’s especially well suited for fans of Pinot Noir looking to be more adventurous, or Malbec drinkers looking for a texturally softer, lighter wine. This subtly carbonic, hand-harvested red won’t disappoint! The tannins are light on the palate, making it a natural choice with a variety of dishes like vegetables, chicken, and seafood.

NICE!

At first taste wondered if had bought a half case of typically European “house wine”... But NO; after a glass and then two... this is GOOD! Not heavy. Clean flavor. No sulfity linger. This is the first wine I’ve found in the US which tastes close to some really good local ones we enjoyed in Europe and Eastern Europe. Added benefit; less sulfites, no headaches!

A real Gamay!

Posted   by Stephanie from Monterey, California
I haven't tasted a real Gamay in decades, and it was a delight to find this lovely wine. It is on the light side, and full of flavor. One of my favorites!

I wanted to try clean wines but I was afraid my husband would not like them. He likes this one a lot. It's smooth but not too light.
