What One Homeschooling Mama of 5 Puts in Her Thrive Market Box

1. What’s the biggest impact Thrive Market has had on your family?

Thrive Market’s prices are budget friendly! Being able to purchase healthy foods at very affordable prices has truly been the biggest impact on my family. Living paycheck to paycheck means our finances are tight, but I can still purchase wonderful, healthy foods on our budget.

2. Tell us what inspired you to share your experience with Thrive Market.

I wanted to share with others how my membership has been a great blessing to my family. I was motivated by the fact that I might be able to help someone else try Thrive Market for themselves.

3. What’s the most important thing you hope people will take away from your story?

I hope it encourages others to join and provide a membership to someone in need. Thrive Market’s commitment to help families on tight budgets purchase high-quality foods is essential to the health of my own family.

4. If you weren’t ordering from Thrive Market, what would your process of getting healthy food look like?

If I wasn’t ordering from Thrive Market, my family wouldn’t have enough of the foods that we need to create our healthy meals. I would have to make purchases on another online store, or at my local health food store in town, which would mean higher price points, and I’d have to cut out some ingredients to stick within our budget.

6. What happens when a box arrives at your doorstep?

When we see our Thrive Market box at the front door, we bring it inside and open it immediately to start using the products. My 4-year-old gets pretty excited to see the green logo on
the side of our box!

7. Describe a typical day of how your family eats or prepares meals.

Breakfasts usually consist of either soaked oatmeal made with coconut milk, collagen or whey
protein, sweetener, and frozen strawberries. Or, we might have cage-free eggs cooked in grass-fed butter with sliced okra that’s seasoned with baobab powder and nutritional yeast. Lunch is often Miracle Noodles cooked in homemade bone broth with a scoop of collagen and sliced okra. Lunch can be Miracle Noodles Cooked in homemade bone broth with a scoop of collagen and frozen spinach, or crackers with cheese wedges, turkey slices, and sliced veggies. For dinner, I often make chili with ground beef, or we eat Miracle Noodles and shrimp in a buttery sauce. No matter what, we always have lots of vegetables with lunch and dinner. My husband and I also have a magnesium drink daily, plus apple cider vinegar and lots of water, which helps us feel our best.
