more bang for your buck
I shopped a lot of protein supplements and this one provides the most protein AND lowest calorie count per tablespoon. I also love that it's plant-based and it costs less than a lot of the muscle powders out there.
Best quality protein powder I've found
I've been using protein powders since I was in high school and I just turned 28. Needless to say, I've tried a lot, tasted a lot, bought a lot and then been horrified when I look at the list of ingredients. This hemp protein is clean and filling, and packs a lot of protein without a ton of calories or extra sugar. I mix it every morning with a packed cup of spinach, a handful of kale, some frozen berries (whatever I have on hand),1/3 of a banana and some almond milk. It keeps me full all morning, and the taste and consistency are great. Highly recommend!
Great in smoothies
I only bought this because it had great reviews. I've really disliked hemp proteins I've tried in the past, but this one works great in my smoothies. Frozen mango, spinach, protein and water in my ninja blender is one of my new favorite protein smoothies!
Excellent protein powder
I use this in smoothies and for making protein bars. It mixes well, has a great flavor, and has no unnecessary ingredients. Excellent product.
Good in a morning shake.
I put this in the blender with almond milk, chia seeds, and fruit, usually banana and frozen berries. Keeps me satisfied. Didn't like it just in water...didn't seem to shake up well...color is a little off but it is easy to get past..
Nutiva Hemp protein powder
I love the Nutiva Hemp protein powder! It blends very well into my smoothies. I will definitely be ordering again! Love it!
Love this for adding protein to smoothies w/o added sugar
I have this 2-3 mornings a week in a smoothie with coconut milk and a banana if I'm in a hurry. A simple nutritious way to add protein w/o added sugars, dairy, or soy. It's easy to add greens and other veggies and fruits for variety.
Organic Hemp protein
This product is great! The high protein plus the branch chained amino acids is exactly what I have been looking for, plus the cost is so much lower than protein shakes that don't deliver nearly as much protein as the Hemp. My family likes it too - I make my smoothie with organic frozen fruit and organic coconut water. Love it!
This is a staple ingredient for my smoothies!
I love my purchase of hemp protein of which I have found having the same freshness and quality that I received from my full price purchases from my local stores. It is good to find discounted pricing that does not give second rated foods. I love my purchase. Thanks!!!!
Great paleo protein
I bought this because, in my paleo lifestyle, I eat a lot of eggs. And if I make a smoothie, I still want that protein in the morning to fuel my day. Adding this protein to my smoothies is the answer. It tastes great, and one canister lasts a while, too!
I haven't tried it by itself so I can't comment on its standalone taste, but I do add it to my chocolate meal replacement shake mix and it seems to enhance to flavor. I was surprised because I was expecting it to make the flavor more bitter, or earthy, or something unpleasant like that. I will definitely continue to use this product.
Great for Breakfast Power Smoothies
Love this product! I started using it to make breakfast power smoothies, so that I start the day with a healthy dose of vitamins, minerals, and protein! I am allergic to ingredients in nearly all protein powders, so this is great!
A good source of protein for those who are dairy-free
I had used whey protein for many years before I discovered some of my stomach issues were due to dairy. Making the switch to this product several months ago was a breeze. I mix it with flax seed, cinnamon and blueberries.
I really like this stuff! I blended it up with almond milk and some frozen berries with my nutribullet and it wasn't sludgy at all. I would definitely recommend for folks that need a good low calorie, gluten free protein powder. (don't be off put by its color, can't taste it at all!)
This has a delicate, sweet taste and is so good for you. I've been adding it to my smoothies and it makes an awesome addition. I will definitely keep it in stock.
Almost, but no cigar
My hope was to add some protein to a make-ahead almond milk-based beverage without interfering with the delicious flavor. Actually, the flavor wasn't a problem, but this stuff does NOT dissolve; it slowly precipitates out and forms a sludge at the bottom of the bottle no matter how often and vigorously I shake it. And, while it wasn't a problem for this particular beverage (iced coffee), the color could be really off-putting for something light-colored (think banana/strawberry smoothy); it's dark grey-green. I'll look elsewhere. At least I didn't make a major investment.
I mainly use this in baked goods for my autistic son who is allergic to so many things. It gives him the protein he needs in the morning. I make muffins about 4 days a week. Blends well and keeps well.
This was my first time trying hemp protein and it's an acquired taste. I first blended it in a smoothie with a water base and it came out too clumpy and didn't taste great. A friend suggested blending it with a thicker milk so I tried almond milk and it came out much better. A little pricey in my opinion.
So pleasantly surprised!
I was looking for an alternative protein powder to add to breakfast or lunch time smoothies. I'm always skeptical of protein powders because to me, they leave a weird powdery texture in your mouth, OR they are really strong tasting. I started with just 2 tbsp of this (in a protein drink for breakfast), because I was afraid it was going to taste--Idk, scary or something? I blended it with one tbsp of almond butter, half a banana, and 8 oz of vanilla almond milk. I couldn't taste the powder at all! I wouldn't even know it was there, except for the green tint. I didn't start feeling hungry until about six hours later. I am so happy to have found this!
I've read many reviews about hemp protein powder and I was expecting this to have a hard-to-tolerate taste. I mixed 3 tablespoons with a cup of frozen berries, a banana, and a cup of unsweetened almond milk. Stirred in some chia seeds. It was delish! Will definitely order again and I'm very happen to have discovered Thrive Market.
Improving My Diet
I've heard a ton about the superfood qualities of hemp, and I wanted to try it out. It's been perfect in my morning smoothies. Honestly, I just add a bit of this hemp seed to my smoothies - no matter what flavor or ingredients the smoothie uses - and I get a lot more protein and fiber in my diet. It's that simple. I honestly can't taste the "hemp" taste at all, and I'm getting more important nutrients from my smoothie in the morning. It's pretty much win-win. Hemp has also been linked with lowering blood pressure, increasing digestion, increasing energy, improving cholesterol levels, controlling blood sugar, and helping to lose weight. I'll take all those benefits with my morning smoothie. Yum!
Hi-Fiber Hemp Helps
Why are so many people afraid to consume hemp? You can't get any type of rush from this type of hi-fiber plant. I use Nutiva brand hemp in nearly all of my baked goods and other recipes. This dietary supplement contains protein for the vegetarians and is vegan approved. Nutiva went all out to insure their hemp product is safe. They use a gentle cold-press method, insuring there are no harsh chemicals like hexane in their natural products. Plus, it's packed in a BPA-free container. How awesome is that?
I purchase all my healthy foods and products through a membership with Thrive. Their prices are so much better than at the local health-mart and other online shops.

suppresses my appetite
This hemp protein helps keep me energized, suppresses my appetite and it doesn't taste as bad or as earthy than other hemp proteins. I add this to my smoothies and it mixes well. No lumps or anything.

Good but needs right mix
This has a strong flavor, so you need to mix it with something that can kind of mask the taste a bit. I blend it into yogurt or smoothies to cut the taste a little.
It gives me a big energy boost, but getting the mix right is key or you may be overwhelmed with the taste. I use a cup of water, teaspoon of molasses, half cup of the hemp and a cup of almond milk. Tastes awesome.

I add it to everything
As a family, we've cut down on red meat, and we need to replace that protein somewhere. This powder mix does the job and then some.
I add it to smoothies, shakes, oatmeal, and even organic chocolate milk. It dissolves well, and my kids hardly know it's in their food, which is great, trust me. If you're a mother who wants to get protein but not through meat, this will really help you out.

Power protein powder
I'm a serious bodybuilder, but I only use natural products. Nutiva's hemp protein is perfect for me. Organic, pure and packed with what I need.
Protein is the body's fuel, and this has plenty. It also has tons of fiber, iron and good fats that I need to metabolize and turn into fuel. This is the only powder I use now.
