Want to jump on the medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) in your coffee trend? Here’s an easy (and vegan!) recipe to try. MCT oil is made from the nutritious fatty component of coconut oil, and since it’s clear and mostly tasteless, it won’t impact the flavor of your favorite brew. MCTs bypass the digestive process and are quickly converted to energy, so you may find you’ve got a bit more pep in your step.

1 tablespoon Nutiva Butter Flavored Coconut Oil
1 tablespoon Nutiva MCT Oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ teaspoons cacao powder, plus more for garnish
1 ½ cups (12 ounces) brewed coffee
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until combined, about 20 seconds. Top with a dash of cacao powder just before serving.
