This switchel—a fun name for a simple, fermented drink often made with apple cider vinegar—mixes up four ingredients and allows them to steep overnight. Ingredients

¼ cup Gaia Herbs Black Elderberry Syrup
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
3-inch piece ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
4 cups water

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a large mason jar. Tighten the lid and shake vigorously, then refrigerate at least 12 hours. Strain ginger before serving, and enjoy hot or cold.
