Delicately sweet with a slight hint of maple, lucuma perfectly complements the intense nutmeg flavor of eggnog. And since this superfood contains antioxidants, this is one sweet drink that you can feel good about downing.

Lucuma Eggnog

Yield: 1 to 2 servings
Active Time:

½ cup lucuma powder
1 ½ cups almond milk
¾ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons honey
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg, plus more for garnish
1 teaspoon chia seeds
Pinch of Himalayan salt

Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and thoroughly combined. Serve with a bit of nutmeg sprinkled on top. For a warm drink, pour blended drink into a small saucepan and gently warm over low heat on stovetop.
